Our five-year-old son has built dams in the river in the valley. Although the house is secluded, it is an absolute must for those looking for a relaxing holiday in nature.

Super authentic house, beautifully located for nature lovers. One of the few with a swimming pool in that region. Very neat, nice communication. There was a wifi outage, but we are working on it :)

Foz dos Barreiros is truly a fantastic breathtaking place! The surroundings are very beautiful, rugged and soothing, time seems to have stood still. Directly from the house you can make beautiful walks. The house itself is fully equipped, with nice clean bedrooms. The living room/kitchen is a bit small, but this was not a problem for us because of the life outside. The pool is beautifully situated and wonderfully cooling.

This holiday home is highly recommended. The location is magnificent: on a hill overlooking another village (or rather hamlet) and terraces with olive trees. The area is wonderfully quiet (ideal with the current Corona vicissitudes) and still very authentic (there are few tourists and those who are there are from Portugal). Furthermore, the swimming pool is beautiful and we have made several walks that are suitable for children. The cottage is complete and came with all the necessities. Furthermore, the owner is easily accessible.

We thought the cottage looked better in real life than in the pictures!
