Villa Renate is a large, modern, practical design house: beautiful rooms followed by a large terrace of 80m² that can be safely closed off for small children. Both on the terrace and by the pool there is a large table with chairs and lounge chairs.
The view is beautiful: beautiful trees, quiet surroundings, in the distance the sea.
The spacious open kitchen contains all possible kitchen utensils. In addition, an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, coffee maker, toaster, mixer, etc.
On the ground floor there is a bathroom with bath and two bathrooms with walk-in shower upstairs. Excellent beds, plenty of duvets and no carpet anywhere. Each room is equipped with air conditioning.
Excellent wifi and TV connection with Dutch channels. Separate adjustable underfloor heating downstairs and upstairs.
For summer guests, there is also a fully open kitchen by the pool, in addition to a shower, toilet and sun beds. There are also a lot of beach toys provided.
We felt completely at home in Villa Renate from the first minute!
Two small remarks:
- For hibernators (like us in Feb-Mar 2022), a small additional heater in the bathrooms upstairs would be welcome
- There was no awning with a base to be seen anywhere: on hot days (also in winter) such an umbrella could provide shelter on the terrace
Villa Renate can be warmly recommended by us, partly due to the excellent service and assistance of the owner and his staff.
This house is a guarantee for a nice holiday where only the (changeable) weather in the winter period can sometimes be a spoilsport! But then there might be the books and the hard drive with movies and series - which of course you have to bring your own!
