We were there over the weekend and enjoyed the stay to the fullest! Really a totally idyllic spot on earth. We sat a lot in the garden, barbecued and enjoyed the sun. Thank you very much and we would love to come back! :)

The cottage was fine for each other.
Point of criticism, cleaning could be better in and certainly around the house

Tall people are likely to bump their heads from time to time. Stairs to the bedrooms require caution. Great place to explore Zeeuws Vlaanderen and Belgium.

We spent a week in Malpertuus, a cute old house. But it does need maintenance. The cottage was cozy, but cold and damp. Our medicines stuck in the box. We had some cold, wet days and had the gas heater on in the kitchen in the evening. In the room we couldn't get the heater on. The sanitary facilities were modern and new. But the moisture during the shower could not escape, the drainage was not sufficient. The window frames upstairs really need to be replaced. The large garden was amazing, as well as the expansive view. The caretaker was friendly and helpful.

Even with that heat, a wonderfully cool house. Also nice and quiet, depending on the wind you can hear the provincial road early in the morning. With the cat ideal because the house is located on a large piece of private proper...

Even with that heat, a wonderfully cool house. Also nice and quiet, depending on the wind you can hear the provincial road early in the morning. With the cat ideal because the house is located on a large piece of private property and there is hardly any traffic on the dike.
