They drove to Sweden for the first time in the late 1970s in an old Volvo. Almost every summer after that they explored Scandinavia by car and tent (and later with an antique caravan). In 2006 they bought Ängarna.
Ängarna is a former farmhouse on a large yard. The meadows are surrounded by extensive forests. and traditional stacked stone walls. 'We think Ängarna is a wonderful place. We have plenty of space to do all sorts of things or play outside and at other times we enjoy the peace and the view.'
