Very special cottage, which has been taken care of in detail with a lot of love! Think of record players, LPs, singles and games from the past and retro furnishings (with modern conveniences). Beautiful surroundings with lots of birds (both in song and to be seen) and frolicking squirrels around you. In short, definitely worth a stay here ;).

The four of us stayed two nights in 'De Verpoozing' and loved it in the cottage in the woods.
Dorien has created a little paradise there and gives you a very warm welcome. In short: a super super host!

De Verpoozing is a top house with the cozy atmosphere of the 60s, with good beds and a good shower. Nothing is missing. Everything has been thought of.

De Verpoozing is a top house with the cozy atmosphere of the 60s, with good beds and a good shower. Nothing is missing. Everything has been thought of.
The forest garden is inhabited by the squirrel, the woodpecker and many other birds. It is quiet and no traffic visible.
NOTE: access path deep potholes must be filled!

I was able to relax in De Verpoozing. The cottage is located in a forest, you don't see other houses, you sometimes hear, but are really further away.
Lots of birds and squirrels in the garden:) The cottage is decorated all the way in the early 70s, really lots of nice details and is very very neat and clean. Nearby many walking and cycling opportunities and the village of Holten is within cycling distance. I would love to come back again!
