Car hire is not always necessary. You discover a lot walking or by bike, boat or bus. Walk for example along the riverbank and take the canoe to the other side and walk under the King Tombs along to the ruins of Kaunos, the port city of Lycia in the 4th century BC. Here you have a beautiful view over the river and Dalyan. Grab your bike and cross the river and elsewhere on the shores of the lake in Köycegiz Sultaniye you'll find delicious mud baths and hot springs. Take a tour on the lake in search of birds and turtles. On market day you sail to Köycegiz on the other side of the lake. Rafting, canoeing, sailing, mountain biking and golf are also possible.

Dalaman International Airport is 26 km away. A taxi from the airport to the villa costs € 33, - (TL 75, 2012). We can arrange this for you.

Personal note
Because there is so much to see in the world I have never wanted to buy a house, until one day I ended up in the Dalyan Villa Manzara. Here I would like to put down roots. Nicolette thought that, too. Mrs. Dondu, who lives opposite the villa, is an excellelent care taker. Hospitality is more than obvious. Her English is good and she is very helpful. The decision to put my retirement savings into this beautiful was an easy one.
