Our new (2024) 6/7 person holiday home in Grächen (Valais), has the authentic charm of a traditional chalet, with a contemporary modern finish. The house, with an area of 150 m², is traditionally built and is fully equipped. The house has two floors and a classic gabled roof (covered with solar panels and often with a layer of snow), matching the mountainous surroundings and the phenomenal view over the Mattertal. The hiking trails start at the front door and the ski lift can be reached in 5 minutes on foot.
The ski area of Grächen is not very large, but it is snow-sure, challenging, cozy and also very suitable for children. In a radius of half an hour's drive there are also several (very) large ski areas (such as Zermatt and Saas Fee).
In summer, Grächen is a true hiking, cycling and mountaineering paradise. Numerous routes start at the front door. Think of the famous Höhenweg, the Europaweg to Zermatt and child-friendly water trails. The mild climate, the many hours of sunshine and the wide range of activities for families make this chalet perfect for an active and relaxing summer holiday.
