We rent out our cottage 'Åsa' in southern Sweden near the village of Grimslöv and directly on the edge of the forest. The best place to relax, but also for an active holiday. There are numerous hiking trails in the area and you may come face to face with the king of the forest, the moose. Or take a city trip to Växjö with its many shops and restaurants. Near Växjö is Lake Åsnen. A huge nature reserve where you can enjoy walking, cycling and bird watching. Always wanted to know where the first Ikea is? Go to Älmhult and visit the Ikea Museum. Discover how Ikea made the small village of Älmhult great.

The house we rent out is a typical Swedish wooden house from 1925, but therefore low ceilings and doorways! It is 80m2 in size and can accommodate up to 4 people. Downstairs you will find the living room with wood stove and patio doors to the veranda with garden furniture and a bbq. There is wifi, Dutch television and air conditioning. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. Downstairs there is also a modern bathroom with shower and toilet. Upstairs is a 2nd toilet and 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds. Washing machine is available. Pets are welcome in our cottage.

Hi, I'm Jolanda and I moved from Lisse to beautiful Sweden with my husband Frank in 2017. Frank is a painter and I have worked in the hotel industry. It has always been my dream to rent out my own house. We renovated the house together and then lived there for a number of years with great pleasure. We now live in the village of Lenhovda. Now it's time to let others enjoy what Sweden has to offer.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

1. The rent (excluding deposit) is paid in full through the bank.
2. A deposit of 20% must be made when agreeing to the rental agreement.
3. The full rental price must be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival.
4. For bookings made within 4 weeks before arrival, the full rental amount must be paid at once.
- In case of cancellation by tenant within 2 months before arrival date, he will owe a fee of 20% of the rent (i.e. excluding costs and deposit)
- In case of cancellation within 1 month before arrival date, a compensation of 75% of the rent is due (i.e. excluding costs and deposit)
- In case of cancellation within 14 days before arrival date, this fee is the full rent.
- If desired, the tenant will take care of cancellation insurance himself.
