Rancho PeleLuz – a place to unwind
Rancho PeleLuz is located in a unique place where silence, nature and space come together. With 2.7 hectares of land, wide views and neighbours at a considerable distance, this is a place to really unwind.
Stroll through the cactus-filled garden, pick a ripe fig from the tree, read a book in the shade or take a refreshing dip in the pool. There is a yoga studio and a workshop; Plenty of space to relax, be creative or just not have to do anything at all.
The beaches of El Campello and San Juan are about a 35-minute drive away. Alicante and the atmospheric mountain town of Alcoy can both be reached in about 40 minutes. This way you can effortlessly alternate between sea, city and mountains.
The environment is rugged and pure. A few minutes from the rancho is the Barranco de les Salines, called the mini Grand Canyon by many. An impressive gorge with special rock formations, where you often meet almost no one. In addition, from the rancho you can climb La Penya Migjorn, the mountain behind the rancho, for a beautiful view over the valley.
Rancho PeleLuz is completely off-grid and runs on solar energy. We therefore use electricity consciously.
Our two friendly dogs also live on the property. They don't run loose, but you will see them or sometimes hear them. They guard the grounds and are part of life on the rancho. If you like dogs, they will be happy to come and meet you. They rarely turn down a hug.
In our valley there is no mobile coverage, but there is good wifi. For many guests, this is a relief: getting away from all the reports, while remaining available if necessary.
