WELCOME TO CASA ROSIANA ON GRAN CANARIA. Our sunny, stylish house with WiFi is located in an oasis with palm trees, in a valley at an altitude of 600 m. The house is located in a unique nature reserve with many marked hiking trails and beautiful mountains in the area. A wonderful place to escape Corona in the Netherlands. If you are looking for a good remote workplace, then this is ideal!!!

From the house you can start walks around Santa Lucia. A folder with written walks is waiting for you in the house. You can also make beautiful walks further from home. Swimming in the sea is of course also wonderful, the beaches are beautiful and the water has a wonderful temperature, even in winter. But after a day at the beach it is nice to be able to get out of the tourist crowds and make a nice trip back through the mountains to Casa Rosiana.

If you want to swim closer, there is the new swimming pool in the village (only open in summer), or the swimming pool at El Molino in Fataga del Sur. The nearest lake only if it has rained. Cycling for every level is also doable. e-bikes, racing and atb bicycles can be rented from a recognized company.

The house is centrally located for undertaking various trips across the island. Cyclists are enthusiastic, also because you encounter villages on your trips for refreshments.
It is also wonderful to laze in peace in a hammock in the garden, smell the flowers, hear the birds sing and watch the hops fly.

The rent is per week per person, including clean sheets and blankets, electricity, water. cleaning of the house is done by Mila before your arrival and after your departure. Children up to and including 10 years: the 1st child free, the 2nd and 3rd child 50% discount.

My name is Hermanda van der Wilk and I warmly welcome visitors to our attractive house in Santa Lucia / Rosiana, 200 years old and restored in style. It is a paradise surrounded by palm trees. It is located in a beautiful walking area with unique views and the sea nearby. Good to rest. The climate is very pleasant if you come from the cold North and you need sun and blue sky, even in winter. The people of the village are friendly, helpful people. Also for you!

Explanation of prices

The weekly price includes gas, water and wifi. The electricity consumption will be settled with the deposit afterwards. Take a picture of the electricity meter on arrival and departure (right outside the gate) The price is for 2 people. Each additional person pays €40 per night. For 1 child under 10 the stay is free. The 2nd child under the age of 10 receives a 50% discount. You pay €40 for cleaning costs (see service costs). And the electricity bill is settled via the deposit.

The 2nd bedroom will only be prepared if it is actually booked.

Due to Covid-19, the accommodation is cleaned extra well. The rooms are extra aired. the whole house can be easily ventilated, because it is connected to the outside and the garden through doors and windows.
Disinfecting hand cream is available, as well as soap to wash hands. Cleaning products are provided in the bathroom. The maid is well instructed when cleaning the house.

When renting for three weeks or longer you can expect an attractive price. Working remotely with a good internet connection and beautiful nature for walking and swimming in a relaxed corona environment. Moreover, the sun shines here. Feel free to contact us with questions for more information.

The house is organized around the central kitchen. And further comprises a large living room, a bedroom, a loft, a second bedroom and bathroom.

Information about the layout of the house

The new kitchen provides access to other rooms and is thus the central point of the house. In this room stands a large, round (folding) table with 4 chairs. The new granite countertop provides ample space to cook. In the kitchen sink cabinets is eating and cooking utensils to be found, suitable for six persons. There is a refrigerator, a faucet with both hot and cold water and there are built-in electric hobs. There is no dishwasher because the pleasant temperature all in a trice droogt.De kitchen is connected to the garden from 2 large French windows. Also the roof via a staircase in the kitchen to reach. Here you can enjoy the magnificent views, the sun and the clear starry sky.

The living room is both from the kitchen and through the main entrance from the garden to reach. This space, with a sofa, 2 easy chairs and a hammock chair from Nicaragua delicious enough opportunities to sit. The fireplace adds atmosphere and warmth on cool evenings in the winter. Daytime summer temperatures are still! Also there are clothes in the living room and an antique chest of drawers, large wooden box in which all sorts of information about the house is located.

The double bedroom is separated from the living room. In the bedroom is a spacious 2-bed (160/220 cm.) With a new mattress. Under the bed are two drawers built in, which are extra blankets. There is also an extra room for clothes to hang up and down. The light comes through a window into the bedroom. A lovely room as a bedroom.

This bedroom is accessible from the kitchen. This room has a bed and there is also an extra single mattress available. There is a chest of drawers and a wardrobe for hanging clothes. Daylight enters through a new skylight.

The bathroom is also accessible from the kitchen. The bathroom is not big, but all the amenities: a sink, a toilet and a shower with both hot and cold water. In the bathroom, next to (tropical) plants, an orange tree so that the space is not completely covered. This allows you, if you take a shower, or the blossoms smell the oranges hanging.

In the garden you can look down lord. There is a fig tree, next to fruit too much shade, a pomegranate bush, two banana plants and several other plants. The garden thus gives access to the front door that opens into the house and the garden doors leading to the kitchen.

Unfortunately there is no internet in the house, it was insufficient. But in the village at the town hall from 8 am to 14:00 pm and on the square in front Wifi and Bar Antonio, opposite El Mirador, Wifi and you can always use the internet.
