Villa Vistasmar

Very charming and spacious villa with private pool in a quiet urbanization between the two coastal villages of Salobreña and Almuñécar.

Our villa, 'Villa Vistasmar', faces south and is surrounded by many terraces (450 m²), gardens and offers breathtaking views over the sea. The villa was restored a few years ago (new kitchens, bathrooms and terraces etc.) and all rooms and amenities are very easily accessible.

The urbanization is very well maintained and the villas belong to owners of many different nationalities, including French, Germans, Belgians, Swedes, Norwegians, Danes, Spanish and English.

The urbanization also has a communal swimming pool and tennis court (both free to use) within walking distance. A bus stops along the road with hourly connections to Salobreña, Almuñécar, Granada and Málaga. The villa is located just a few hundred meters from the N340 and 350 meters from the sea and a small beach.

The villa has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and two modern fitted kitchens. The ground floor has a comfortable and spacious living room (74 m²) with a fireplace and plenty of sofas to relax. All bedrooms can accommodate two people each, but in case there is a group of ten guests staying, the sofa bed in the fourth bedroom can be used. If there are more than ten guests staying (up to a maximum of twelve), they must sleep on the sofa beds in the living room.

There are smart TVs with antenna and WiFi internet connections. The villa has air conditioning (which can also serve as heating) and therefore the stay is very comfortable all year round. There is a kidney-shaped swimming pool (2 / 4.50 x 10 meters and we plan to install a heating system this autumn 2022), there are five terraces (each with sofas, sun loungers, tables and chairs) and flower beds and tropical (fruit) trees. The villa offers a lot of privacy.

In the nearby area you can enjoy walking, cycling, golfing, horse riding and both Salobreña and Almuñécar offer a variety of good restaurants. It is a somewhat older house, we have left the original details of the villa intact, so the villa exudes the typical Spanish atmosphere. We have added some luxury, without trying to be too 'perfect' or 'decadent'. The villa is beautifully situated on top of a hill, with fantastic views over the Mediterranean Sea, Salobreña, Motril, Torrenueva and the urbanization. There is actually too much to see and do. You can hike in the mountains, go skiing in the Sierra Nevada (just an hour away), visit the Alhambra, go to the prehistoric caves of Nerja or enjoy a walk in the award-winning Frigiliana...

The most surprising advantage of the villa is the combination of enjoying the tranquility of a seaside villa on the one hand and the liveliness of the coastal area on the other. Salobreña and Almuñécar can be very busy, especially in July and August.

When you are in or around the villa and relaxing on one of the terraces, the shepherd and his sheep may pass by! The breathtaking sea views and ever-changing sunrises and sunsets are also difficult to describe.
