The history of La Herradura goes way back, like the other towns in the Costa Tropical, the pretty bay was once used as a strategic port for both the Phoenicians and the Romans.

In recent years, La Herradura has seen an influx of people of many different nationalities. Northern Europeans in particular flock to this area due to its perfect year-round climate... with mild winters and very little rain.

The small village, once unknown, attracts many visitors with its charm, all with one aspect in common. Once you have become acquainted with the village on horseshoe bay, you will always come back.
