Our apartment casa Tajo is located 7 minutes walking distance from the nice town of la cala de Mijas. And you are on the beach in 10 minutes, where there are several beach bars with beach beds, delicious cocktails, or a delicious breakfast by the sea in the morning. In addition to the apartment, we have the luxury of the Aldi where you can go for your groceries. A little further on there is a Lidl and nice shops and bars / restaurants in la cala itself.
The apartment is fully equipped so that you can enjoy your holiday. We like to come and enjoy the apartment and the surroundings to the fullest. It is located exactly between Malaga and Marbella. Enough to discover and experience. We rent the apartment with parking under the apartment complex.

The apartment can also be rented for long periods (months) for which we ask you to contact us for adjusted rates.

We have an alarm system from Sector Alarm.
This is sometimes mistaken for cameras by guests, but these are the sensors of the alarm.
This alarm will also always be switched off when guests are staying with us.
There are no cameras in our apartment!

We are John and Tamara van Dijk. Our dream was to live in Spain after we got married in Mijas Pueblo. We have managed to buy an apartment, but we are postponing living until the children have left the house. Until then, we would like to share it with you. You are welcome in casa Tajo.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.
