We are Han and Marijke and we bought our first house in l'Estartit in 1978. We feel extremely at home in this area and have never left: a lovely forest around the corner, beach nearby, not too many tourists, in short, a wonderful place! We have changed houses a few times, but always on the same urbanization. We rent this house with the owners, Twan and Sandra van Groenestijn.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

NB:
- We advise you to bring your own bed linen and (extra) towels, in addition to the package provided.
- Casa Verdial is not rented to groups of young people.
- Charging an electric car is not allowed at Casa Verdial.

Conditions Reservation, Payment and Cancellation

Reservation and payment
After receiving your reservation request, you will receive the reservation confirmation with the invoice for the total booking amount within a few days. The reservation becomes final after receipt of your deposit of 35% of the rent (to be paid within 5 days after receipt of the invoice). The remainder of the rent must be paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period, unless stated otherwise in your booking confirmation. For reservations made within 8 weeks before the start of the rental period, the total invoice amount must be paid immediately after receipt of the invoice.

Cancellation
In the unlikely event that you want/have to cancel the agreement, you will still owe 35% of the rental price in the period up to 8 weeks before the start date of the rental period. If you inform us 8 weeks before the start date or later that you will not use the rented property (anymore), you will still owe the full rent. Rent already paid will not be refunded in case of cancellation of the agreement. We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.

Additional information

Estartit is a pleasant, lively resort on the Costa Brava. The 6 km long, wide, gently sloping beach makes lEstartit ideal for families with children. A variety of shops, restaurants, bars and other entertainment venues makes it a holiday destination with something for everyone.

Estartit is known to divers by Illes Medes, a group of seven islands off the coast. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy themselves: there are plenty of opportunities for snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, water skiing and kite surfing. The underwater world is also to be admired from the glass-bottom-boat and there are plenty of boat and canoe excursions towards the Medes Islands. Also nearby coastal towns go towards day trips by boat. In the immediate area can be found with crystal clear water several small bays: Aiguablava, Sa Punta, Sa Riera and Sa Tuna.

Girona, Figueres and Barcelona are easily reachable from l'Estartit and the artists Cadaques place is definitely worth a visit.
