Our cozy and complete two-room apartment is located on the first floor of the BlancoSol apartment complex in the bustling seaside resort of Torrevieja. The apartment is suitable for short and long stays. Torrevieja is a seaside Spanish city on the Costa Blanca and falls under the province of Alicante in Spain. It is approximately a 40 minute drive from Alicante Airport and at a distance of approximately 30 km south of the city of Alicante.

Usually the Spanish people throng here during their summer holidays because the city of Torrevieja offers modern amenities of life in addition to the swimming pools, beautiful gardens and the sandy beaches with the crystal clear waters. Torrevieja's strategic location on the Costa Blanca makes it popular among holidaymakers.

climate
This is a hot semi-arid region. The average temperature of Torrevieja fluctuates around 26 degrees. The coldest month is January with an average temperature of 11 degrees. August is the ideal month for swimming in the sea as the sea water temperature remains around 25 degrees. You enjoy more than 340 days of sunshine per year.

Apartment
Our nice apartment is located in the La Mata district, 500 meters from the Mediterranean Sea and wonderful sandy beaches. It consists of a living room, two bedrooms, an open kitchen and a beautiful bathroom. On the terrace with awning there is a four-person lounge set, where you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather, sea view and the setting sun while enjoying a cold drink. The house is fully equipped. All rooms have air conditioning. And if it gets a bit chilly in the house in winter, you can turn on the heating. Would you like to sunbathe and swim? Directly in front of the apartment is the well-maintained large communal swimming pool, which you can use for free!
There are several restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. For your daily shopping you can go to the Mercadona supermarket.

Torrevieja and surroundings
There is a lot to see and do in and around Torrevieja. Torrevieja has more than 20 km of white sandy beaches and coves (calas). Playa del Cura and Playa de los Locos are golden beaches with palm trees, restaurants and shops. You can rent sunbeds and parasols here. Playa de La Mata is the longest and most beautiful beach in Torrevieja, surrounded by the Natural Park and dunes. The most lively beach is Playa de los Náufragos with many sports options. Playa del Acequión has some cozy beach bars and fishing boats are often moored there. The Paseo Maritimo Juan Aparicio has two artificial beaches with breakwaters. You can shop in large shopping centers such as La Zenia Boulevard and Habaneras, or in small, cozy shops in the old center of Torrevieja. Torrevieja has an Aqua Park and a large sports complex with an Olympic swimming pool with outdoor and indoor pools. Top attractions are the 2 salt lakes (Las Salinas de Torrevieja) and the associated national park. Here you can take beautiful walking and cycling trips and the salty water from the lakes is very healthy for the skin. It is always pleasant along the city's boulevard with the 1600 meter long pier (Dique de Levante). Full of cozy restaurants and bars. Along the pier you will also find a number of trendy beach clubs and you have a beautiful view over the marina. On Fridays, a visit to the Torrevieja market is recommended. This is said to be one of the largest markets in Spain! Buy fresh fruit, vegetables and olives here. But you can also indulge yourself here for clothing and souvenirs. Also visit the cities of Murcia, Alicante or even Valencia. This is very easy to do by car as a day trip.
