Our beautiful 1920s town house is in the centre of the lively town of Pedreguer, just 3km Jct. 608 AP-7 and 7km from the beach and Port of Denia. Guest accommodation is a 100% self-contained apartment on the first floor.
What's included:
We provide a full welcome pack including breakfast stuff, milk, tea/coffee, snacks, soft drinks, beers and a bottle of wine. You can make yourself at home straight away.
From the communal hall and stairway you have access to your own self-contained apartment. We, (including Ron the dog), live upstairs in the attic flat so we are on hand if you need anything.
On the first floor of the house, you have one double room, one twin room, one family shower room with separate WC (all linens and towels, shampoo, shower gel, condicioner, provided), living room, snug, utility room with dishwasher, washing machine, and fridge freezer and an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen diner for your exclusive use.
You get access to the well-stocked ‘honest’ pantry so no buying a litre of olive oil and jars of salt and pepper for a couple of days’ stay! and a big basket of toiletries and essential items you might have forgotten in the bottom of the linen press in the bathroom.
Dog friendly!
We are dog friendly. Well behaved dogs are always welcome and we do not charge a supplement. Guests are responsible for any damage/accidents caused by their pets.
Cleaning and Hygiene
The safety and comfort of our guests is our priority. Our accommodation is fully cleaned and sanitised immediately before your arrival, with extra attention paid to anything you can touch including but not limited to door handles, light switches and sockets, knobs on appliances, remote controls, taps / shower handles and loo seat, etc.
Location
We live in the centre of town, (you can find us at C/Ventura Costa 3, 03750 Pedreguer) which means everything is in walking distance; bars, restaurants, public outdoor pool (open June - September), shops, theatre, library - the lot!
However, you will hear some traffic noise, or people talking in the street below from about 9am Mon-Sat, until about 7pm - with the exception of siesta time, 2-5pm-ish, when the whole place is so quiet you can hear a pin drop. It's incredibly peaceful, and only a handful of bars and the big supermarket at the bottom of town stay open. We are a tiny town though so it's a handful of cars and vans, not Madrid levels!
Fiestas are a whole different ballgame. The big one in July every year, is relentless. Starting the 2nd weekend of July for 10 days, it's party central morning, noon and night. Definitely not the time to visit if you're bothered by noise, plan to catch up on your sleep, or you don't like crowds! If you do then you're in for one hell of a party!
As with many other small towns in Spain, running the bulls is a passionately protected tradition. Whatever your or our views on this activity, it is unlikely to stop in the near future. Bull running takes place in Pedreguer in the main fiesta in July, and at the fiesta of San Blai in late January, and it's easy enough to avoid if you don't want to see it - please just ask us before you book your trip what's likely to be going on during your stay.
