Luxury corner apartment on the first floor in a fantastic location. Attractive balcony and roof terrace (with pergola with awnings), sea views in the most idyllic area on the Orihuela Costa. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room and there is also a gas heater in the living room so that it is also wonderful to stay in the evening in the winter months.
We think the Orihuela Costa is a beautiful region and the beaches of the Costa Blanca south are fantastic.
The nearest beach is 4 km away, 7 minutes by car (and always space/free parking) or 20 minutes by bike.
From 2014 to 2016 we lived in nearby San Miguel de Salinas and it is not for nothing that we chose Villamartin  as the location for our holiday home at the end of 2017. We fell in love with this place and this house, the urbanization, the cozy balcony, the location right next to the pool, sea view from the roof terrace; we love it!
We have lovingly adapted the apartment to our taste in recent months and from September 2018 we want to rent it out to let others enjoy our casa and to use the proceeds to provide the garden downstairs with a shed and a nice extra (the3rd) relaxation place in the future.


At 300m distance you will find the Mercadona for groceries and daily hot rolls. In the immediate vicinity there are several golf courses (Las Ramblas, Las Colinas, Villamartin Golf) where you can play all year round. 

Our property is a wonderful base to visit cities such as Alicante, Cartagena, Elche, Murcia etc.

We lived with our children, now 23 and 19 years old, in nearby San Miguel de Salinas from 2014 to 2016. After returning we felt homesick and started looking for a nice holiday spot in that area, Casa Cool Down we chose. We have recently renovated the house and furnished it to our taste.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Rent includes:
  • Wifi
  • Gas, Water & Electricity (based on consumption of 10 kWh per day, higher consumption will be deducted from the deposit)
  • Parking lot
  • Air conditioning - heating - gas heater
  • Use of adjacent communal swimming pool
  • BBQ
  • 2 simple Bicycles

  • Beach chairs
Rent does not include:
  • Final cleaning costs € 65.00. To be paid on the spot to Anja.
  • €10,--pp bed and bath linen.
  • Deposit € 200.00 to be paid at the time of booking to the owner, after verification by the key manager it will be refunded within 7 days.
  • Electricity consumption above 10 kWh per day; € 0.40 cents per kWh, this will be deducted from the deposit.

Handling and payment terms:

You will receive the rental contract by e-mail within 5 days. Payment is made via MICAZU. (excluding deposit)

Arrival / departure house:

Check-in after 15:00. For arrivals after 22:00, the key manager charges a surcharge of € 20.00.
Check-out before 10:00 am. If departure before 6.30 am, the key manager charges a surcharge of €20.00.
Outside the high season, check-in and check-out can be done earlier or later if possible.

Cancellation:

If, for whatever reason, the tenant cannot, does not want to or will not accept the leased property on the agreed date, he must immediately notify the landlord. If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period 6 weeks before the start date of the rental period, 30% of the rent remains due; in case of cancellation up to 4 weeks for 40% and from 2 weeks until the start date of the rental period 50%.
If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make use of the leased property (anymore), the full rent remains due. You may need to take out cancellation insurance yourself.

We have lived in this region for 2 years. I mail tips after booking. You can always ask me for advice, what to do / where to eat etc. In our house there are also 2 books about the costa blanca that you will have a lot on. Also a Spanish dictionary and some reading books.
