It is the most secluded beach in the area and you can therefore all year round, even in winter, enjoy the sun by the rushing sea, possibly while sipping an ice on a terrace.

Also worthwhile is the beautiful, famous dadelpalmenwoud in Elche just south of Alicante, the waterfalls of Guadalest, the braid cane rows in Gata and Tabarca Island.

In the interior, with wild landscapes and mighty peaks you come through Guadalest (42 km), an ancient mountain village built against the rocks at Aitana (80 km). This is the highest mountain in the province (1558 m) with fantastic panoramic views.
