Moraira is situated on the Costa Blanca between the cities of Valencia and Alicante. Both from the Valencia airport or from the airport of Alicante is around an hour away. With own car is also possible. The distance from Utrecht is over 1900 km.

It is still the home of the fishing boats. Early in the morning you can get a fresh fish in the nearby fish market "Lonja".
On Friday there is a large market in Moraira in the parking lot at the fair from 9:00 to 14:00.

- Guadalest (from the castle to visit you have a beautiful view of the surroundings and in particular what the lower reservoir);
- Valencia (there are so many attractions that it is advisable to take this beautiful city to see as much as possible the hop-on-hop-off bus);
- Villajoyosa (picturesque streets lined with brightly colored houses and the famous Valor chocolate factory).

- A visit to Javea and Calpe is definitely worth it. You will find the larger sandy beaches and in the evening you can stroll along the promenade various stalls selling all sorts of trinkets

From Altea and Denia you can also sail by ferry to the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera). A weekend in Ibiza steps therefore is possible, this can even from Moraira.
