Welcome to villa Casa Shanti!
Our lovely luxury villa in Javea on the Costa Blanca. After a long search, we fell in love with this place, in the beautiful green district of Tosalet. On a quiet, dead-end street. The house was rather rustic, but we immediately saw the charm of it and the possibilities it offered. We felt the wonderfully cooling sea breeze on the naya and immediately saw ourselves sitting here. With the sea less than 5 minutes drive. If you look to the left on the naya you can see it. After a year of renovation, we have made it our dream home! We have left intact the traditional architecture that is so characteristic of this area with the Tosca stone arches and the wooden beams on the naya and applied a combination of contemporary architecture and comfort, inspired by the Ibiza style houses.

Casa Shanti is located on a spacious plot of 1000 m2 and is spread over 2 floors. The plot is located on a hill so there is a difference in height and several stairs. Through the front door you enter the spacious hall with office, the living room with stairs to the ground floor, the open kitchen and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Here is also the covered terrace, the naya, overlooking the pool, the surrounding greenery and a piece of the sea. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom and a separate toilet. And the pantry with washing machine and dryer. The 2 bedrooms have access to the pool terrace.
The downstairs bedrooms can be reached via the stairs in the living room, so the upper and lower floors are connected from the inside.

Inside:
All bedrooms and the living room/kitchen have the latest air conditioners, these are whisper-quiet and improve air quality. In the summer they are there to cool and in the winter to heat. There is both broadband internet via wifi and wired. There are mosquito nets in front of all windows and sliding doors and there are shutters in the bedrooms to darken. There are also various smoke detectors.

Living room and kitchen:
The cozy living room with open kitchen is the central point of our house. Here you enter through the naya or the spacious hall with office. The living room has a cozy sitting area around the pellet fireplace with sofa and armchair, the TV and the music system. A large sliding door gives access to the naya, which is actually an extension of the living room. Inside is a somewhat smaller round table for 4 to eat or work at (extendable to a maximum of 8 people), on the naya is a large dining table for 8 people and a nice corner lounge sofa. In the living room is the stairs down. The open kitchen has an island with 2 bar stools, a ceramic hob with 5 cooking zones, a convection oven, a microwave, a large fridge with freezer drawers, a kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, a toaster, panini maker, a juicer, a hand blender, etc.

The bedrooms:
All 4 bedrooms have Daikin air conditioners, mosquito nets on the windows and shutters to darken, keep the sun out and sleep peacefully with the window open. There is also a fan above the bed in each bedroom. Great even when you don't use the air conditioning! On the upper floor are 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.

Bedroom 1 has a 180×200 bed.
The en-suite bathroom has a bath, separate shower, toilet, double sink and underfloor heating in the colder months.
Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds of 90×180 cm. These beds can be placed separately or against each other as desired.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink and underfloor heating.
Downstairs are 2 identical bedrooms with sliding doors to the pool terrace.
Both rooms have a double bed of 160×200 cm. In the hall downstairs is the bathroom with shower, double sink, a toilet and underfloor heating.
In the hall is also a separate toilet with sink. All beds are equipped with the same new thick pocket spring mattresses suitable for the warm Spanish climate, the beds upstairs are on a box and downstairs there are wooden cots. The beds are equipped with wonderfully cool percale cotton bedding. If desired, a baby cot and high chair can be added for a fee. Downstairs the pantry is equipped with washing machine and dryer.

Outside:In the garden is the 8×4 meter swimming pool and the outdoor shower. In the garden there are several places to relax both in the sun and in the shade. Various sunbeds, umbrellas, and seats are available.
On the covered terrace, the naya, you can enjoy the shade and the cool sea breeze. Here is the large dining table for 8 people and a corner lounge sofa. Since the kitchen of Casa Shanti is equipped with a large sliding door, adjacent to the naya with the large dining table, there is also the (gas) BBQ, so you can cook outside and inside with a view of the garden.
