Casa Pilar

Welcome to Casa Pilar!  This house is furnished with a wonderful vibe and equipped with every luxury and comfort.
This house is located at the back of our garden, but gives both you and us enough privacy. For example, you do not have a view into the house and the terrace and a separate entrance.

Because sleeping well on holiday is very important, both bedrooms have a spacious bed (180x210) with wonderful top-quality mattresses and we have different models of pillows available!  The bedrooms are also equipped with air conditioning, mosquito nets, (blackout) curtains and built-in wardrobes with plenty of storage space.

The 2 bathrooms are ensuite and each equipped with a toilet, spacious walk-in shower, sink with large mirror, hairdryer, ample storage space, soft towels and hand soap. Mosquito nets are also provided in the bathroom and there is underfloor heating. It's great to get out of the shower like that....

The dining area with open kitchen and cozy sitting area is bright, beautifully decorated and offers a beautiful view of the valley. This room is also equipped with air conditioning and underfloor heating. The kitchen itself is equipped with all modern comforts including a dishwasher, ceramic hobs, oven, large fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee maker for ground coffee, Nespresso machine, toaster, juicer, mixer...  

The cupboards are filled with beautiful sevies, sufficient and various types of glasses and cutlery. The pots, pans and cooking utensils are of excellent quality. 

We also provide standard oil, various spices, some dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, soaps, some coffee capsules, sugar, tea, a bottle of water & a delicious aperitif with a few snacks.

In the sitting area with a large flat screen you can enjoy the channels of Tv Vlaanderen (also Dutch, English, French, German... There is also a Chromecast & Netflix. The wifi is of very good quality and super fast! The underfloor heating and the built-in (silent) pallet heater make the winter months extra warm and cozy. 

A washing machine, ironing board, iron, drying rack and vacuum cleaner are also available....
On the private terrace in front of the house you can enjoy the sun from morning to evening, you have NO view, a beautiful and open view of the valley and here too the design of the terrace breathes the atmosphere of holiday...  
Your private terrace is equipped with a dining table with 4 chairs, a lounge area, 2 sunbeds & an authentic Finnish hot tub! Pure luxury...  

The swimming pool with sun loungers, the outdoor kitchen with bbq (gas), sink, refrigerator,... the lounge, the garden with built-in trampoline, the outdoor shower and the separate outdoor toilet... can be used all year round. The hot tub can be used between mid-September and the end of June. In the summer months, lighting fires in the region is prohibited due to fire hazard (drought)

The 12m x 4.5m swimming pool has an automatic cover with solar cells so that the water heats up faster during the day and cools down less quickly at night. (The swimming pool can also be heated on request and with suppl. - request a few days in advance!)  

The house is quiet, yet close to everything! The old town is a 5' drive or a 30' walk, the port is an 8' drive, the sandy beach 'Arenal' is a 12' drive away
A car is recommended for groceries, trips...  


Because we also live on the domain with our children and both we and our children need peace and quiet for work / studies, Casa Pilar can only be rented for adults and children from 13 years old (with the exception of July 1 - August 31) Casa Pilar and its facilities (swimming pool, outdoor kitchen) are only available to tenants of Casa Pilar. Visits to family and friends are not allowed (unless with our exceptional permission) 

We have furnished the house with a lot of love and maintain it very well. Casa Pilar is a holiday home, not a party home!
Our sweet cat Merlot roams freely on the domain, so other pets are unfortunately excluded.

Please join a reservation that has already been made (1 day's leeway) or leave at least 9 days in between. We can cancel your reservation in case of non-follow-up. Questions about the dates? Feel free to send us a message!
