Welcome to Casa Chez Henri!
It started about 10 years ago as a dream to one day realize a house in France (as a kind of ^2nd Villa Felderhof). We already had the name...
But as so often happens, things turn out slightly differently in practice and we finally managed to realize our dream in the spring of 2022 in beautiful Jalon in Spain. Different than planned, but the name stayed.

Why would you want to stay at Casa Chez Henri?
In addition to the wonderfully heated swimming pool, certainly also because of the location!
In our search for a home, one of our most important criteria was: the village with terraces and restaurants must be within walking distance of our home. We think that is more important than walking distance to the beach.... and we succeeded!

Our villa is wonderfully quietly located on an area of over 1,000 m2 and offers a lot of privacy, but at the same time is only 800 meters away from the attractive center of Jalon. So the car does not have to be used.

The house offers peace and space and has various seating areas on the property. An important advantage of the house is that you can always stay in touch with each other. The heated swimming pool and terrace are centrally located and fully south-facing on the site, supplemented with a newly constructed lounge/veranda on the west side. This provides some extra hours of sunshine in the evening. From the elevated Naja you have a beautiful overview of the swimming pool, the terrace, the garden, the hills of the valley and the church tower of Jalon.

The house is fully equipped. Both the living room, with smart TV, and all 3 bedrooms will be equipped with new air conditioning systems in 2023. The complete, open kitchen (with dishwasher and oven) and the living room are directly connected. In addition to the cozy sitting area with fireplace, there is a spacious oval dining table with space for 8 people.
The house has a lot of light and is equipped with plastic windows and mosquito screens.
The spacious swimming pool of 8 x 4 meters is nicely heated from March to November and varies in depth from 125 cm to 200 cm. Given the depth of the pool, the villa is less suitable for children under the age of 6 and/or without a swimming diploma.
There is a jeu de boules court behind the house.

Jalon (or Xalo in Valencian) is a lovely village with many activities. The Saturday flea/antique market is well known, which attracts many people from miles around.
There is a cozy village square and various terraces and approximately 20 restaurants spread throughout the village. There are city festivals several times a year, where it gives the impression that (almost) all residents participate. Jalon also has 2 complete supermarkets and several bodegas, where you can also book a wine tasting. These are highly recommended!

Jalon/Xalo is centrally located in the Jalon valley and is also known for its extensive walking and cycling opportunities.
The beautiful beaches of Calpe can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. In addition, other seaside resorts such as Denia, Javea, Moraira, Altea, Albir and Benidorm can be reached within 20 - 30 minutes by car.
