Welcome to Casa Chez Henri! 
It started about 10 years ago as a dream to one day realize a house in France (as a kind of^2nd Villa Felderhof). We already had the name...
But as is often the case, things turn out a little differently in practice and we finally managed to realize our dream in the spring of 2022 in beautiful Jalon in Spain. Different than planned, but the name has remained. 

Why would you want to stay at Casa Chez Henri?
In addition to the wonderfully heated swimming pool, the sunny south-facing location, the numerous seating areas and the privacy, especially because of the location! 
In our search for a home, one of our most important criteria was: the village with terraces and restaurants should be within walking distance of our home. That is more important to us than walking distance to the beach.... And it worked!

Our villa is quietly located on a plot of over 1,000 m2 and offers a lot of privacy, but at the same time is only 800 meters away from the attractive center of Jalon. So the car does not need to be used.

The house offers peace and space and has various seating areas on the property. An important plus of the house is that you can always stay connected to each other. The heated swimming pool (from April to October) and terrace are centrally and fully south facing on the property, complemented by a newly landscaped lounge/porch on the west side. This provides some extra hours of sunshine in the evening. From the elevated Naja you have a beautiful view of the swimming pool, the terrace, the garden, the hills of the valley and the church tower of Jalon.

The house is fully equipped. Both the living room, with smart TV, and all 3 bedrooms will be equipped with new air conditioning systems in 2023. The complete, open kitchen (with dishwasher and oven) and the living room are directly connected to each other. In addition to the cozy sitting area with pellet stove, there is a spacious oval dining table with space for 8 people.
The house has a lot of light and is equipped with plastic windows and mosquito nets. 
The spacious swimming pool of 8 x 4 meters is nicely heated in the period from April to October and varies in depth from 125 cm to 200 cm. Given the depth of the pool, the villa is less suitable for children under the age of 10 and/or without a swimming certificate.
Behind the house is a jeu-de-boule court.
Pets are not allowed in our villa.

Jalon (or Xalo in Valencian) is a lovely village with lots of activities. Well-known is the Saturday flea / antique market, which attracts many people from far and wide.
There is a cozy village square and spread over the village there are several terraces and about 20 restaurants. Several times a year there are city festivals, where it gives the impression that (almost) all residents participate. Jalon also has 2 complete supermarkets and several bodegas, where you can also book a wine tasting. These are highly recommended!

Jalon/Xalo is centrally located in the Jalon valley and is also known for its extensive walking and cycling opportunities.
The beautiful beaches of Calpe can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. In addition, other seaside resorts such as Denia, Javea, Moraira, Altea, Albir and Benidorm can also be reached within 20 - 30 minutes by car.
