GEOGRAPHY & CLIMATE
The Costa Blanca is the 160 kilometer long coastline of Alicante province, south of Valencia.Het White Coast got its name due to the white blossom of the almond trees that are planted much here. The name has nothing to do with the white sandy beaches, as many people think. There are also small pebble beaches to be found, sometimes only be reached by boat.

Ideal climate

Healthy
Moreover, the special microclimate of this coast is very healthy: the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends the Costa Blanca for people suffering from asthma and skin complaints. Many pine forests and salt lakes contribute to this healthy environment.

Beautiful surroundings
The mountain chains not only have a positive impact on the climate, they also form the majestic backdrop of the idyllic scenery of the Costa Blanca. Yes, idyllic. The Costa Blanca is often identified with the busy tourist town of Benidorm, but we operate in the southern part of the region. This region - between Alicante and Murcia - is a true paradise! These salt lakes provide relief from the pain that these diseases are accompanied gaan.Ook lagoons and marshes. In these wetlands bird life, many of which the flamingos perhaps the most to the imagination. The Salinas (salt flats) at Santa Pola also attract many birds. Some just for the winter months, but there are also native species such as albatrosses and herons.
SUN, SEA & BEACH
The Costa Blanca is a series of beautiful beaches. Most consist of fine white sand, but there are also some kiezelstranden.Vrijwel every day of the year, sunny and therefore a magnet for people from the northern regions of Europe. Lazing on the beach, a little swimming, a drink at the boulevard. Relax and doing nothing. You can, but it does not. All resorts on the Costa Blanca offer ample opportunities for more activity.
