El Campello is a unique holiday spot under the Spanish sun between Benidorm and Alicante. For 4.35 euros pp you can travel by bus + tram from the airport to directly behind our apartment in 1 hour. For only €45 you can use our own car shuttle service to and from the airport (4 people) and get there even faster. This way you don't need a car and the entire Costa Blanca is even cheap to travel. A tram ride costs only €2 to Alicante or max. €3.50 euros to Benidorm pp per ride.

Residence Jardin del Mar has the most beautiful swimming pool in El Campello in a large beautifully maintained palm garden and in the evening all this is even enchantingly lit, which can be seen from your terrace on the 7th floor. There is even a sea view between a few buildings. Two fine sandy beaches are within walking distance. We then have beach chairs, cooler/cooling elements, beach bag, umbrellas, etc. for you to take with you. In 10 minutes you are in front of the supermarket, mailbox, bank, beach and boulevard with its many cozy restaurants, bars and shops. The apartment is fully equipped and luxurious to give you a real home feeling, such as: free WIFI and Satellite TV to continue to watch your own TV programs, Stereo, audio set with USB connection and even Blue Tooth so you can listen to your own music (including streaming from your smartphone). The kitchen has all the appliances needed such as dishwasher, washing machine, combi microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, all cutlery, pots and pans, shopping carts, etc. You can use everything that is in the drawers or in the cupboards and we assume that you will also replenish something if something is no longer there, but you would do the same at home, wouldn't you?

There are many sports facilities that you can also use such as sauna, fitness room, squash, table tennis, tennis (paddle), basketball, football. We even have 2 tennis rackets with balls and a football and basketball that you can use for free. The entire complex is secured and securely fenced day and night. Finally, a children's playground has been installed on soft grass.

We have our own fantastic hospitality team on site. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by Paola, Noemi or Elisa. They will give you the keys and show you around the complex and the apartment. There will always be a welcome pack ready with wine, beer and water. Also, everything will be on standby such as, Satellite TV, Refrigerator and Gas enabled, If you arrive by bus and tram, one of them will be waiting for you at the tram stop behind our house. From here you will be guided inside.

There is a guestbook including a foreword that will answer all your possible questions with tourist information, translations of Spanish words, tips for trouble-free TV watching, manuals and many tips & tricks for a pleasant stay.

In the hall hangs a clear map of El Campello on which the 9 supermarkets are already indicated, the post office and the nearest bank for your convenience. You can even get off with the tram 2 stops further after 3 minutes and do your shopping at the supermarket and then back again, handy if you don't want to walk for a while. But the pinnacle of shopping convenience and holiday feeling is having your groceries delivered to your home. Supercor does this from 90 euros and the Consum from 60 euros. How convenient is that?

In 10 minutes you can walk to the boulevard and you can choose from many restaurants in various price ranges. There are already 3-course menus from 9 euros to a maximum of 21 euros and often the wine is included. So you don't have to cook yourself, but we also like that sometimes, even on holiday.

By the way, if we drive by car, we can easily do this in 2 days. It is 2040 km from Tilburg. We leave at 7.30 am and often spend the night in Perpignan in a hotel and if we leave at 8.00 am we are in El Campello around 5 pm on the 2nd day.

The house is situated in the safe resort of El Campello. An ancient city with a rich history. In the excavation La Illeta del Banyets (next port), one of the most important in the Mediterranean region, we find relics dating back to prehistoric times (the Chalcolithic and Bronze Age). Importantly, the Iberian village and small baths and fish farms from Roman times. In the 16th century it was. to repel attacks by Berber pirates a system of watchtowers built along the coast of which have been preserved. 2 in El Campello These now form the symbol of the resort. In the 18th century the 1st parish was founded in the monastery of the Mercedariers. By the turn of the century there was a thriving fishing industry thanks to the 1st shipyard in the Riu Sec, going and was built a sailor district that currently co is the tourist center.

With a unique coastline of 23km in El Campello is there for every beach lover, incl.naaktgedeelte, to be found. Their own beach spot Whether walking from your apartment to the most beautiful sandy beaches, either by tram to one of the 10 Cala's north of the city with beautiful cliffs and crystal clear water. The coastlines are protected and very well maintained and therefore have blue flags as a sign of safety and cleanliness. Each evening the beaches are swept and the debris removed mechanically. There is a fully accessible area for the disabled.

The Sailing in the harbor offers year-round courses for sailing, rowing and kayaking. Moreover, you can rent at the beaches Kitesurfing, Windsurfing and Paddle Surfing (suppen), Water Skiing and Jet Skis are also even dive routes to be under supervision. And of course El Campello lends itself perfectly for beautiful walks and bike rides because many roads are fairly flat.

Then you pp for 22 euros (14 euros child) by boat from the port of El Campello and Alicante, to the island of Tabarca 17km off the coast of Alicante. It is still inhabited protected marine reserve which is certainly worth a visit. Finally, you have the luxury to exchange with spectacular mountain activities only 10km from the city. Off a beach We can give you a beautiful car route that ends in the beautiful and tourist shed Guadalest (above Benidorm). Route is 150km.en takes 3/4 days to complete. The mountain landscape varies in shape and rock and is fascinating and beautiful. The vegetation consists auromatische plants, (mountain) cherry trees, almond trees, orange and lemon trees. medlars and grapevines. Alicante is an ever more famous wine production area with many award-winning wines. Also, there are marshy areas of land where rice is grown! To the south is a Unesco World Heritage of Humanity, namely in Elche with a unique palm forest where once stood 200,000 palms including even the remains of the gardens created by the Arabs, and what further south you will find the salt lakes. That does include the air quality in the Costa Blanca the healthiest in Europe. It is also referred as the Florida of Europe because of its mild climate with over 320 days of sunshine per year. And that for only 2 1/2 hour flight from almost any European city.

Spanish culture has many celebrations. There is every month a festival somewhere where you can do than delicious or just enjoy a distance. Note of as a tourist More information in the booklets in our apartment.

In the Costa Blanca are less than 21 Golf Courses including 3 even belong to the Pitch & Putt category. There are two beautiful golf courses within 10km;
Bonalda Golf direction Busot and Alcoy driving and
Alicante Golf Avenida Costa Blanca 139-Playa de San Juan

In Alicante you have really big Santa Barbara castle to visit (free entrance) on the highest mountain cliff by the sea. As a reward, the walk to the top you can enjoy fantastic views over the Mediterranean, Alicante and El Campello you can even lie well.

In Benidorm we can definitely recommend the Sunday market of 8-13 hours. and of course the various parks such as:
Terra Mitica Theme Park
Aqualandia Waterpark
MundoMar dolphin park / show
And of course we also advise to go and walk the long boulevard Benidorm with its very many nationalities in terms of tourists, restaurants, bars, discos, flamingo shows and casinos.

For shopping, there are several in Alicante large indoor shopping centers with free parking and all in Benidorm we recommend La Marina on the road N332. This gigantic mall is just the tram behind our house directly accessible. This large shopping centers throughout Carrefour megastores, sit Primark, H & M stores, etc.

We hope we have given to hire for an unforgettable stay on the sunny Costa Blanca. Our apartment as a base sufficient cause Goodbye.

HISTORY EL Campello, COSTA BLANCA AND TIPS

1 Not all the large crowds of Benidorm for example, but you can be fast if you want to go.
2 Very close to Alicante Airport, quickly reachable in less than one hour by bus (2.90 euros pp) and tram (1.45 euro pp) in a pretty sight seeing trip to our door!

WHAT ARE THE KEY BENEFITS TO HERE TO STAY:

1 For a long time the sun on the terrace until about 14 o'clock in the afternoon. But there are also sunscreens to rotate downwards.
2 Terrace is covered never affected by rain if this occurs sporadically.
3 Pool is the whole day in the sun but there are also plenty of thatched umbrellas.
4 Very hygienic daily checks on bathing.
5. Daily gardening which is absolutely to see.
6 Everything is within walking distance. So no car required.
7 Lots of value for money with all the FREE extras that we offer.
8 In case of problems or help needed please in your own language Cathy ten Have call and they speak many languages ??including Spanish and guides you to a Dutch doctor or if necessary even to the hospital. We found this always have a calming feeling when we hired itself.
8 Many indoor shopping centers are very close in Aicante and Benidorm and always free parking. Some even by tram.
9 The tram takes you even in front of the water park and leisure park in Benidorm.
10 All food present, cosmetics, liquor, laundry / dishwashing and cleaning products you can use for free.

REASON WHY WE HAVE BOUGHT A HOUSE IN EL Campello HISTORY AND TIPS

Dear Eugene and Astrid,

We had one week to the end of June 2014 as the first guest visitors. We were nicely greeted by the taxi driver Antonio us nameplate at Alicante airport. Everything we had heard in advance and read were consistent with what we saw in the apartment. Very complete and extremely tidy when we got into it. There was even a personalized welcome letter on the table with a bottle of red wine and one bottle of water and two beers. So that was nice coming. On recommendation we first read as the welcome book by and we were quickly online with free WIFI code that was indicated herein. There appeared to have the geyser. On the kitchen balcony a bird nestling After reporting to Cathy a handyman was immediately deployed and in no time the problem was solved again. Then we had another nice hot shower water. When we opened the sliding door from the living room we looked right out on the truly amazing lovely pool. So we are fast as the temperature of the water going to feel and that was really nice, around 25 degrees. And everything is indeed within walking distance what you're looking for; beach, supermarket, bank, etc. We enjoyed delicious on the beach with beach equipment that were available in the apartment. The sea water was around 24 degrees. So really tasty. Everywhere very good guard on the beach which still gives much reassurance with small children. Also, the tram behind the house a godsend. We're on it went to Alicante and Benidorm with the children what went well for little money. We also had no car required. The boulevard is a must see for a nice stroll or simply to eat out. There are more restaurants than shops but well that's really the only thing we noticed. Oh and the bed in the master bedroom, we found some small. For the rest of the apartment everything was present even in the smallest details. So we really enjoyed it and definitely consider going. Once again

Last year October we stayed at the apartment at El Campello. We really enjoyed our stay there. The weather was great, even in October you can still enjoy the beach, which we did and the best thing was that it is within walking distance of the apartment. It only took us 30 minutes by car to get to the apartment from the airport Alicante. A real plus is that you can park your car safely behind the gates of the complex, near the entrance of the lift to the apartment. The apartment is spacious and has all the things that you need when you want a worry free holiday. Shops, restaurants, beach, the boulevard it's all within walking distance and if you want to go further, you can take the tram that stops at the front of the complex. The apartment has all the facilities that you need in an apartment. It was clean and you can see that they take great care to make sure all is in working order, so that you can enjoy your holiday. We decided to take the tram to Alicante and do some sightseeing there. It was so easy and it stops right in the centre of Alicante, what more do you want. The information provided by the owners of what you can do in the area was great, plenty of choice to choose from. Before we went we also got a couple of tips of little towns to visit and we have passed this on to the owners. It is a great place to stay and we would recommend the apartment to our friends and family. The people are friendly, the restaurants a great and the owners offer a great service. Hallo Astrid en Eugene, Ook wij hebben afgelopen februari (12 tot 19 feb 2015) een weekje mogen genieten van jullie appartement. We hadden al best veel informatie van jullie mogen ontvangen en onze verwachtingen waren daardoor best hoog. Alles wat jullie ons verteld hebben klopte gewoon! Wij werden op de luchthaven netjes opgewacht door Antonio die ons direct naar jullie appartement heeft gebracht. Daar werden we opgewacht door Dana die ons de sleutels overhandigde en een uitgebreide uitleg gaf over het appartement. Alles was dus perfect geregeld! Het appartement zelf is werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien zoals TV, stereo, WIFI, vaatwasser, wasmachine, enz. Het is te veel om op te noemen en alles is perfect! Als welkom in jullie appartement stond er een flesje rode wijn klaar en lagen er een paar pilsjes in de koelkast en dat is best lekker als je rond 9 uur s,avonds aankomt. De boulevard van El Campello is ook echt in deze periode de moeite waard. Ook in deze periode zijn de restaurants gewoon open en is het er gezellig druk. We hebben ook veel gebruik gemaakt van de tram die vlak bij het appartement een halte heeft. Je stapt in en bent binnen een half uur in Benidorm of Alicante . Kortom wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad mede doordat alles is gegaan zoals afgesproken en jullie fantastische appartement! Wij komen zeker terug! Francis en Sjef uit Nederland. We travelled by bus and tram to Jardin Del Mar and sanded an SMS to the host at the apartment. Very easy, cheap and beautiful sight seeing trip. The host was waiting for us on the tram perron to avoid searching for us. We felt home immediately and found a self explaining welcome book, wine, water and beer on the table. All was very clean and fresh washed linnen was waiting on the beds. The terrace was complete settled and waiting for us to enjoy the sun. Stunning view on the sea between 2 buildings and the very big swimming poole day and night with light right from the terrace. Great sandy beaches on walking distance. Very convenient we could take beach chairs, umbrellas and an easy trolley for the beach and shopping. Great service. We really loved the very good restaurant El Burgonon on the boulevard. Eugene gave us a voucher for 50% rebate on 1st visit. We never experienced that level of service. Thanks for easy communication and all service which was highly appreciated. Beoordelingen van onze gasten op een andere website.met een ****5 STAR RATING. Gisteren teruggekomen van twee heerlijke weken in een mooi appartement. Voor ons was het een thuiskomen daar we zelf in Jardin Del Mar jaren geleden ook in het bezit waren van zo'n mooi appartement alleen geen 3 maar 2 slaapkamers. Het ligt ideaal voor het maken van trips met de tram, de bus of een huurauto. De boulevard is erg gezellig met een diversiteit aan restaurantjes en terrasjes pal aan zee! Het appartement is goed verzorgd en is heel compleet ingericht met een vaatwasser en wasmachine en heel belangrijk in deze tijd WIFI en TV met Nederlandse zenders. De eigenaars zijn heel aardig en niets is hun te veel om te zorgen dat het de gasten aan niets ontbreekt , zelfs aan wijn en bier is gedacht. Als je dit appartement boekt komt u in een gespreid bedje! Wij kunnen niet anders zeggen dat wij een hele fijne vakantie hebben gehad. We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children. The apartment worked really nice for us with three bedrooms, separate seating area and kitchen. Swiming pool was popular and it was safe with lifeguards parts of the day. It was lovely beaches within walking distance. The tram went right next to the apartment - 30 minutes to Alicante and 1 hour to Benidorm. It was a hot July, so we missed Airconditioning. Wifi worked well and kitchen contained what you needed. Landlord responded quickly and were very helpful. They also ordered the taxi that picked us up at the airport and drove us back. The area was quiet and not too much tourists. Ook wij hebben mogen genieten van jullie mooie appartement hier in El Campello. Complimenten voor het prachtig verblijf wat van alle gemakken voorzien is! En de service die jullie bieden is in een woord: GRANDIOOS. Het begint al bij de informatie naar de beschikbaarheid van jullie appartement. Je krijgt direct een keurig kant en klaar reisschema etc. gemaild. Perfect verzorgd. Daarna de gratis horeca vouchers en de mogelijkheid om je te laten vervoeren van en naar Alicante AIrport. Dat kunnen wij iedereen aanraden. De host Antonio is de perfecte persoon hiervoor. Goede keuze van jullie. Dan de aankomst in het appartement; flesje wijn, water en enkele biertjes die klaar staan !! Antonio die alles nog eens uitlegt en natuurlijk de informatiemap van jullie zelf. In Nov/Dec was het weer ook nog eens fantastisch, elke dag 22 graden. Om je te verplaatsen met de tram is een aanrader !! Wij kunnen zeker een bezoek aan bergdorpje Guadalest ten zeerste aanraden. Een schitterend bergdorp. Eerst met de tram naar Benidorm en dan met de bus verder. Nou Astrid en Eugene wij willen jullie nogmaals bedanken voor jullie geweldige gastvrijheid en vinden dit verblijf een ervaring op zich en een reden om nog eens terug te komen hoor. wij waren te gast van 26/11 t/m 12/12 2015. Lieve Astrid en Eugene, Wij hebben genoten van jullie appartement. Je hebt niets teveel gezegd, Het is een prachtige woonomgeving voorzien van alle luxe. De vele informatie die je ons vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf hebt gegeven maakte het ons zelfs moeilijk om keuzes te maken. Alle complimenten voor Antonio. Toen de electra plots uitviel stond hij in 3 minuten tijd bij ons binnen om het op te lossen. Omdat wij hier tussen Kerst en Nieuwjaar zaten hebben we in alle rust deze dagen kunnen doorbrengen. Een heerlijk weekje van 24-30 April 2016 naar El Campello. Wij werden van het vliegveld gehaald door de eigen shuttle service. Antonio de chauffeur was een zeer vriendelijke man. Hij vertelde ons al eea in de auto en eenmaal in het appartement aangekomen gaf hij ook nog de nodige extra informatie.We voelden ons dan ook meteen echt thuis. Tot in de puntjes verzorgd, het ontbreekt er aan niets. Samen met het heerlijke weer wat we hebben gehad maakten dat wij een supervakantie hebben gehad. De eerste 2 dagen zijn we lopend naar El Campello boulevard geweest en hebben o.a. heerlijke tapas gegeten. De afstand is heel goed te doen en zo zie je nog eens wat. Mijn moeder (82) huppelde vrolijk mee. Ook Alicante hebben we 2x bezocht met de tram, super handige verbinding. In April is het seizoen nog niet echt gestart en dat gaf wel een rustige sfeer. maar dat vonden wij juist heel fijn. Complimenten hoor, jullie hebben niets teveel gezegd over jullie 2e huis in Spanje. We maken er graag nog een keertje gebruik van. Voor iedereen na ons alvast ook een fijne tijd gewenst.
