Apartment Paraíso Marina Dénia is a modern apartment in a lovely complex with courtyard garden and swimming pool. The apartment from 2021, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and can accommodate up to 4 people. The comfortable master bedroom with ensuite full bathroom, built-in wardrobes has a king-size box-spring bed of luxury hotel quality and a blackout shutter. The second bedroom with built-in wardrobes and blackout shutter, has two separate box spring beds that can be put together if necessary. 

The second bathroom has a bath. A baby cot can be placed on request. The apartment is equipped with all the luxury and necessities for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. At 500 meters (5/10 minutes walk) you will find the beach and boulevard of La Marineta Cassiano on one side and the characteristic center of Denia with its many squares, cozy restaurants, and attractive harbors on the other. You are within walking distance of everything here, while you can enjoy a drink and a view of the pool in peace on your balcony.

We are Saskia and Daniel. In 2021 we made a long-cherished dream come true with this beautiful place in Denia. Our little paradise, Paraíso Marina Denia. We love coming here ourselves and know Denia like the back of our hand. But if we can't be there, we want others to have a wonderful holiday here.

Our apartment is equipped with every luxury and convenience and is within walking distance of the beach, the cozy center of Denia, supermarkets, restaurants and shops.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:
  • In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
  • In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
  • In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
  • In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
  • In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
  • If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.

Additional information

Denia is a charming fishing town right between Valencia and Alicante. It is known for its 18 km of sandy beaches, and the crystal clear calas where you can paddle, kayak and snorkel. Denia has always been known for its good restaurants, but in 2015 it was declared a city of creative gastronomy by Unesco. Gourmets can definitely indulge themselves here. Between the wonderfully clear sea and the imposing Montgó mountain, there is always something to do for the sports enthusiast.
For those with a car, it is also absolutely worthwhile to discover the imposing mountains in the hinterland.
Gastronomy and the red prawn
In the guide of our apartment you will find several restaurant tips. Reservations are sometimes necessary in the summer months. I am happy to help you select and reserve special gastronomic or star restaurants.

If you like prawns, then you should really try the Red Gamba of Denia. It is sold at a daily price, not cheap. This prawn can only be caught in the waters around this part of the Costa Blanca, and can only be sold in Denia. The taste is sweet and soft.

Hot food at noon (between 13.30 and 15.30)
In almost all restaurants, especially outside the high season, but also in the summer months, a three-course meal is served at lunchtime. You eat for 12-18 euros per person and often with wine. If you want to save, eat your hot meal in the afternoon

Outside the high season tapas routes
Outside the high season, usually in October, November, February, March, the restaurants organize tapas and meal routes, where you can have a drink and an extensive tapa for 4 euros (price is increased a little every year), or in a different kind of route, a local rice (paella) meal. The Jalón valley, or Vall de Pop, in the hinterland of the northern Costa Blanca, is loved and known to many Dutch people. But Vall de Gallinera, wide, rugged mountains, white villages, breathtakingly beautiful, is definitely worth a visit for anyone who loves nature and mountains.
The valley is located about 40 km in the hinterland of the coast near Denia. Via Pego you drive via the CV700 to this beautiful valley, which is surrounded by the Sierra de les Solanes, Almirante and Penya Foradá.
After Pego the road gets steeper and the bends sharper, the mountains rougher and higher and suddenly terraces with almond, olive and above all cherry trees loom up.
Between February and April, the mountain slopes change into a sea of white blossoms. From the harvest in May until the summer, you can enjoy the delicious cherries that are offered for sale or processed into mouth-watering dishes in the many restaurants.
But it's not just cherries and the local gastronomy of the villages in the valley that you can venture along the steep, winding route here. For hikers, there is the beautiful 'ruta dels 8 pobles': route of 8 villages, a linear walk of 14 km along the eight white villages of the Vall de Gallinera. You can also take a trip along the villages by car or bicycle, or, as we did, do part of the walk.
The names of the villages are reminiscent of times when the Moors ruled here; Benirrama, Benailí, Benissivà, Benitaia, La Carroja, Alpatró, Llobai and Benissili. Surrounded by mountains and cherry trees, we walk in complete silence from Benirrama to Benailí and Benissivà, which are only separated by a road.
We pass ruins of a castle, white and colorful houses and stop for a moment at old washing places with photos of earlier times. We marvel at the overwhelming surroundings and the tranquility. Our eye suddenly falls on a round hole in the mountains.
On certain dates in March and October, the sun shines through the round hole in the Penya Forradá in a straight line, a special natural phenomenon. It is also very worthwhile for real hikers to climb the Penya Forradá.
In Benirrama a small carnival parade is just coming towards us when we have settled down at one of the small bars. In other villages, time seems to have stood still, but there are small restaurants everywhere.
The village of Llobai is completely uninhabited. In the vicinity of Benirrama and Benailí there are also caves to visit with almost 400 drawings of different periods between 7000 AC and 1000 AC.
If you go further inland, you will arrive in one of the roughest areas of the northern part of the Costa Blanca, the Vall de Alcalà and Vall d'Ebo.
Various cycling and walking routes have also been set out here. The Val de Gallinera really amazed me, and is highly recommended for anyone who loves rugged nature, mountains, tranquility, hiking and cycling.
Dénia
Denia has wonderful beaches, a number of interesting cultural sights and a well-organized cozy center that can be divided into four parts. Around the castle you will find the quiet, village-like neighborhood of Les Roques, which consists of small streets and colored houses, stairs and secret passages. Away from the castle you walk to Baix La Mar, the fisherman's district with many squares, terraces, and restaurants, as well as the food market Els Magazinos. If you walk even further, you will come to the shopping street Marques de Campo, surrounded by streets with shops, many terraces and entertainment venues. Finally, there is the Marina, the marina, with cozy restaurants and a number of clubs. Denia is known for its huge range of restaurants and eateries. There are fantastic restaurants in every price range, from three-star restaurants to terraces where you can eat a delicious fresh three-course menu for 14 euros. I am happy to inform you about different options and reservations.
