Be active on the golf course, relax at the communal swimming pool in the beautifully landscaped garden or enjoy the view of La Manga in the distance on the spacious balcony. Casa van der Horst is fully equipped and a 12-minute walk from restaurants and supermarkets. By car you can reach the nearest beaches and La Zenia Boulevard within 10 minutes. Apartment
The apartment is on the ground floor and has a semi-open kitchen. The living room gives access to the balcony. The balcony is equipped with awnings that guarantee privacy. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms have a washbasin, walk-in shower and toilet. In the living room, the lounge sofa can be transformed into 2 full beds.
Air conditioning
Air conditioning is available in the living room for a nice cool stay in the summer. In winter, you can heat the living room with this air conditioner. The bedrooms have a ceiling fan for a good night's sleep in the summer.
Service
All basic necessities are provided, as well as games and beach toys for the children. Towels, bed linen, beach towels, beach chairs, beach bags and a cool box are also available. The golf sets and padel rackets may also be used.
TV & WIFI
There is TV and Wifi. The TV can be used via the app of your own provider. This allows you to stream from your phone or tablet to the TV.
For added convenience
A washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, ironing board, microwave, oven and Nespresso machine are ready for you. For just that little bit more luxury and convenience.
Swimming pool & sports facilities
In the Real Golf Club de Campoamor complex you can enjoy a nice swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by a lawn with free sunbeds and equipped with some palm trees and umbrellas for shade in the summer. The pool is not heated.
The following facilities are available at the complex for a fee. First of all, of course, golf. A heated indoor pool, a basic gym, tennis courts and padel courts.
Campoamor is the healthiest place in Europe
The weather in Campoamor is actually always fine. It doesn't get really cold in winter. In the spring you can quickly sit outside.
The Costa Blanca has been declared the region with the healthiest climate in Europe by the World Health Service. The 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of 18ºC undoubtedly contribute to this.

Strand
- La Glea: large beach with 2 restaurants Montepiedra and La Baracca. And also a cozy beach bar Chirinquito. In the summer rental of pedal boats, jet ski, parasailing, fun park for children and banana boat.
- Cabo Roig: small cozy beach with restaurant La Bahia and beach bar Chiringuito. It is also very pleasant here in winter. Please note: a short walk from parking lots with quite a few stairs.
- Rio Mar and Mil Palmeras: large beaches about 20 min drive N332 towards Cartagena.
Restaurants
- La Piazza: is located in La Fuente just outside the park (15 min walk) with Italian cuisine with a choice of tasty meat and fish dishes.
- Maritaos Kitchen: located past the Mercadona (leave it on the right) with Asian cuisine.
- On the square in Villamartin Plaza you have plenty of restaurants in a very nice setting. Our personal favorite there is the chicken skewer at Fairways.
- Makai Cafe in la Zenia and the Willow Cafe in Playa Flameca: very nice and trendy places for breakfast, lunch or cappuccino.
Shops
- La Zenia Boulevard: large, beautiful and modern shopping centre with many shops and eateries. Really a huge crowd puller with lots of free parking.
Sports
- Golf: there are many beautiful golf courses in the vicinity, including Campoamor, Las Ramblas, Villamartin, Las Colinas.
- Padel: beautiful new courts with many activities at Orange padel, Padel Selected and Sirocco padel. Padel can also be played at the park, but the courts are fairly old. The padel rackets available in the apartment may be used.
- Tennis: at the park.
- Zumba: in the open air in a beautiful spot right on the coast at Playa Flamenca a 15-minute drive away. Normally every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning.
- Yoga: on the beach of La Zenia on Sunday morning, the class is free to attend.
- Bicycles: (electric) bicycles can be rented at Lammertink Bikes on the edge of the park.
Cities
- Torrevieja: with a nice boulevard.
- Murcia: beautiful city which is very attractively decorated in the month of December.
- Cartegena, Alicante, Elche, La Manga.
