El Escondrijo is the original name of the house, it means ''the hidden gem, a place with a nice appearance and a warm atmosphere''. This does justice to this finca and we have therefore chosen not to change the name!
The house was bought from the first residents and recently completely renovated and modernized, paying a lot of attention to the preservation of the playful layout and the fine character of the house.
Upon arrival, you walk downstairs and are welcomed into the villa's 'naja': a covered terrace with a large table. Here you enter the living room where a playful open cupboard separates the dining table from a small cozy sitting area with a large television. The open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven and induction hob. Also present is a nespresso, kettle, magimix blender and toaster.
An open staircase leads to the first floor with two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen-size bed (1m60) and built-in wardrobe. A second bedroom has two single beds (90 x 200). These two bedrooms share a bathroom with double sinks and a shower. There is a separate toilet.
A staircase on this floor leads to a third bedroom with king-size bed (1m80) with a private bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) on the second floor. This bedroom has a beautiful view. A door to the outside takes you to a slightly lower balcony where you can also enjoy the view of the sea.
From the outside you can reach a fourth bedroom, ideal if someone in the group wants a little more privacy. This bedroom also has its own bathroom with sink, shower and toilet.
The infinity pool is ideal for a refreshing swim. Around the pool you can lie on a lounger (2) or the built-in sofa (space for 3) or enjoy a drink at the cozy sitting area. There is also a sitting area on the terrace above where you can sit in the shade. Here you can also enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning with a view of the sea! Furthermore, the Mediterranean garden has several layers with a jeu-de-boule court at the bottom for a pleasant evening!
The house is a very nice place to spend a holiday with family and/or friends. Every room, including the living room, has air conditioning. The sea is 750 meters away where you can eat at a beach bar Chiriguito L'Espigo in the summer. Through the residential area you can also walk within a kilometer to Olala, another nice beach bar!
