Casita El gaudi or The Enjoyment

Coming home to this wonderful spot between the lush vegetation on our finca, that is Enjoyment with a capital G, or El Gaudi in Catalan.
Surrounded by olive trees and oleanders, you have a magnificent view of your surroundings from the spacious terrace. The seaside resort of L'Ampolla with its beautiful beaches is three kilometers from the house. Here you will find all facilities, such as supermarkets, fishmongers, bakeries, bars, restaurants. The people are hospitable and the restaurants & terraces are still affordable

Cycling along bright green rice fields? Want to spot flamingos and other exotic birds? Wandering across vast sand plains? In ecstasy of a bright orange sunset? With 320 km2, the Ebro Delta Natural Park is the second largest wetland in Spain. It is a protected nature reserve with rice fields, natural beaches and salt fields. From Enjoyment you can discover the Ebro Delta, the bird-rich lagoons and authentic fishing villages. But the quiet hinterland, a completely different picture from the flat delta, is also worth a visit. A fantastic environment for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers, water sports enthusiasts, geocachers and nature lovers. The area also offers plenty for holidaymakers whose interests vary and variety is desirable. If you prefer a day for culture or shopping, Tarragona, Reus, and Tortosa are a good option. Even the beach lover can choose one of the beautiful beaches according to his preference. Do you prefer sand or pebbles? Big or small? In a bay or more spacious? They are all within easy reach.

The cottage of 32 m² is suitable for two people as standard and offers a lot of privacy. The living/dining room is attractively furnished and equipped with a sofa bed, the kitchen is well equipped with, among other things, a refrigerator, induction hob and microwave. The bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom has a shower with thermostatic tap, toilet and washbasin. The cottage (with its own terrace) is behind the main house and offers complete privacy and a beautiful view.

The olive harvest starts in October/November. A wonderful process to watch and if you want to help!

From L'Ampolla there is a train connection with Barcelona and Valencia.
