Casa de la Serenidad is surrounded by nature and silence, yet only 200 m from the main road and 2.3 km from superettes, bars and restaurants in Los Romanes. The 200° panorama around the house extends for miles, over sloping orchards with small farms to high-altitude mountain villages.
This luxury villa is equipped with every comfort and has 4 double rooms, each with its own ensuite bath or shower room and each with an outside door to one of the terraces. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets and shutters. There is air conditioning in all (bed) rooms throughout the house and there is a ceiling fan. Wifi is available throughout the house.
The terraces are equipped with enough tables, chairs, sun loungers and parasols, something for everyone. The heated swimming pool measures 10x5 meters and is 1.5 meters deep. There is a built in BBQ on the terrace by the kitchen. The open kitchen is fully equipped.
Extensive shopping or going to the cinema is possible in Velez-Malaga and Torre del Mar, less than a 20-minute drive away. A little further are the wide sandy beaches of Torre del Mar.
Malaga International Airport and the old city center are a 50 minute drive away ; Granada and the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada are an hour and a half drive away. The famous 'Caminito del Rey' is also an hour and a half away. Remember that it is best to book months in advance for a visit to the Alhambra in Granada or the Caminito del Rey. Nerja with its famous caves, typical Spanish restaurants and spectacular viewpoint at the 'Balcony of Europe' is a 35-minute drive away. Nearby is Comares, one of the most beautiful white villages of Andalucia.
In the vicinity of the house you can make beautiful walks or bike rides. This region with authentic Spanish mountain villages is much quieter and less touristy than the coastal region. On the other side of Lake Viñuela you can go canoeing or pedal boating. A fifteen minute drive away is the entrance to the natural park of the Sierra Tejada, near the pleasant village of Alcaucin, in the shadow of Mount Maroma (2068m).
