Our home, CasaPlaya, is a beachfront home. 3/4 detached on the ground floor with a spacious terrace. Parking usually directly nearby.
La Rábita owes its name to the Moorish fortress on site. Above it is a watchtower, typical of this part of the Andalusian coast. This part of the coast is called the Costa Tropical: the name speaks for itself.
The village is originally a simple fishing village. It has modest tourist pretensions. In the months of July and August it is significantly busy with mainly Spanish tourists. Facilities: small supermarkets, bank, bakeries, restaurants, terraces, which are open all year round.
Larger supermarkets are in nearby Albuñol and Adra.
The simplicity of La Rábita is sympathetic and very soothing. The immediate hinterland is sparsely populated and very rural.
La Rábita is located close to the A-7 motorway, so that all kinds of destinations can be reached quickly. Examples include cities such as Almería, Motril and Granada, small beaches, golf courses (Almería, Roquetas, Almérimar, Motril), ski slopes (Granada) and natural parks (Sierra Nevada, Cabo de Gata).

We are Marja and Jan Schoenmaker. We have lived, alternately in the Netherlands and Spain, for 16 years in the municipality of Albuñol, province of Granada, Andalusia. This region is one of the few coastal regions that has not yet been overrun by mass tourism. We really like the authenticity.

Explanation of prices

The deposit is 150 Euro.
This deposit will be refunded within 1 week after leaving the home, possibly after deduction of additional costs to be settled and/or for the repair of damage found afterwards.
The final cleaning contribution is €45.00.
If, for whatever reason, the tenant cannot, does not want to or will not accept the rented property on the agreed date, he must immediately inform the landlord of this. A telephone notification of this must be confirmed in writing/by email.
At the time of booking, 50% must be paid as well as the deposit; the remaining 50%, no later than 1 month before the start of the rental period.
If you cancel up to 1 month in advance, the deposit will be refunded.
If you cancel 1 month or less in advance, nothing will be refunded except the deposit.
If you cancel during the rental period, nothing will be refunded.
If the landlord has to cancel a rental agreement due to unforeseen circumstances, the tenant will be immediately informed and a refund of the amount already paid will be made.
