You will find our house in Marloth Park, located on the southern border of the Kruger Park, an excellent base for visits to, among others. Kruger Park, Swaziland and Mozambique.
The province of Mpumalanga offers many many attractions. Even when you are traveling through South Africa, Treetops is a wonderful place to stay for a while and enjoy the peace and quiet in the African bush.
At the border of Marloth Park you have a beautiful view of the Crocodile River and the Kruger Park. Lots of game from the Kruger Park comes to drink at the river every day. In the evening you can enjoy the various bush sounds and if you are successful, the bush babies will pass by.
You share the bushland of Marloth Park and our grounds with:
giraffe, wildebeest, warthogs, kudus, zebras, impalas, bushbucks, baboons, vervet monkeys, mongooses and much more wildlife, they come to your door!
Marloth Park has its own nature park "Lionspruit" with lions, zebra, buffalo, kudu, giraffe, etc. There you can also take a beautiful game drive.
The famous Kruger National Park is only a 20 minute drive away!
Enjoy a good braai and/or campfire, with the accompanying bush sounds and, above all, the peace and quiet in and around our comfortable bush house!
Upon entering you will find a well equipped kitchen with a stove,
fridge-freezer, washing machine and filtered drinking water.
You can relax in our cozy and comfortably furnished sitting room with air conditioning.
The French doors in the living room take you to the spacious patio with an adjacent large pool to cool off, the enclosed boma for a cozy campfire in the evening and the braai area where you can enjoy a nice braai.
Treetops offers space for up to 8 people.
On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms, all with air conditioning. 1 room with king size bed + ensuite toilet/shower and air conditioning. 1 bedroom with queen bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds.
These 2 bedrooms both use the 2nd bathroom with shower and toilet.
Ceiling fans have been placed throughout the house and also on the patio.
A particularly attractive "outdoor" sitting/bedroom is located in the loft, this room is very romantically decorated with a four-poster bed and a spacious seating area. Our personal favorite!
You sleep covered in the open air, the loft is shielded with mesh and fly screen against cheeky vervet monkeys, baboons and insects.
On the first floor you will also find a cozy TV lounge with TV (DSTV access) and DVD player.
From the sundeck you can admire the overwhelming African starry sky in the evening!
You can use our uncapped WIFI, without data limit!!!.
Treetops is located on 2 stands, together over 4000m², and is surrounded by parkland
where no buildings are allowed, this guarantees our and your peace and privacy.
From the patio you look out over the bush and the waterhole where animals regularly come to drink.
