An exceptional holiday home in Mpumalanga

On the eastern coast of South Africa, you’ll find what might well be one of the most beautiful provinces in the world: Mpumalanga. It’s the gateway to the famous Kruger Park. Here, you’ll find yourself in the real Africa, where the sun nearly always shines and you can see elephants, lions, hippos and other wildlife in their natural environment. A holiday home in Mpumalanga could mean that all of a sudden you spot a zebra on your veranda or, whilst you’re lighting the barbecue next to your private pool, you’re keenly watched by a couple of monkeys… And Mpumalanga has lots more to offer. The stunning nature is perfectly suited for outdoor activities like walking, mountain biking and even paragliding. The province is also rich in cultural attractions that are easy to reach from your holiday home. With Micazu, you always book your holiday home directly with the owner. Simply in English and at a good rate.

Mpumalanga: impressive and adventurous

In the province of Mpumalanga, you’ll be close to impressive natural sights, such as the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, the largest mountain range in South Africa. The stunning uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park is home to many different indigenous animals: elands, cranes, genet cats and bearded vultures. Furthermore, there are as many as 30,000 cave paintings to be found in the park in 520 different locations. This means that the park has the highest concentration of this type of painting in the world. At least equally as impressive is the Blyde River Canyon, a spectacular gorge of at least 30 kilometres. From your holiday home in Mpumalanga, you’ll also be able to make day trips to other interesting towns nearby, such as the historic gold mine towns of Pilgrim’s Rest, Sabie and Dullstroom.
