That's how it was 5 years ago: the new planting started to grow well and is now even more lush
From the backyard you enter the backyard, a small word for a large area. The wild flowers may be picked, and there is a playground for the children in this area, which runs two hundred meters, until behind the trees you see there
Nature in Hungary is very similar to that in Western Europe, but there are often small surprises in the flora and fauna! Lying on your back under a tree in the hills in the spring... beautiful!
In this kitchen you live, work and rest just as comfortably as at home. This is not making do, as people say in Groningen.
The dining table with room for enough guests - and it's extendable too!
There is enough material for the real cook and bakliefhebbers. It is nice to be in the kitchen, the heart of the house.
From the cool kitchen to the warm outside goes directly into this traditionally decorated Hungarian house.

The 'master bedroom' is on the ground floor
The lounge part of the living room. You can play your own movies on a TV screen via Chromecast.

In the living room it is cool and quiet. For the evenings there are films, books, magazines and games
There are no small bedrooms in this house - just great, with lots of space to carry your own stuff for a comfortable stay. Bedding is abundant.

.... and between the bedrooms is the spacious landing, with a table and chairs where children have the space to play games on a rainy day.

Upon arrival you enter: the front door, which is immediately the hallway and the kitchen. Meanwhile, the outer wall looks better because we have insulated and re-stuccoed.
Take a boat trip on the Tihany peninsula to the other side. Worth it! There are also tours to book over the lake.
In March 2015, we built the two evening terraces behind the old ruin. Here you can enjoy the sun that disappears behind the hip bridge.
In southern Hungary, a few hours drive, is Pécs, with its beautiful center. The south has been a very different atmosphere than Northwestern Hungary. It's definitely worth a trip!
Walks can be made anywhere around the village, in any season. This was a spring walk at the end of March 2015, with the typical blue flowers that then bloom along the stream in the forest.
A walk in May. You walk up the hill and you are surprised by a beautiful view over Lake Balaton.
The house in this wonderfully quiet village can also be used in winter! This is the Main Street of Hidegkut.
These images are in Herend porcelain, a village west of Veszprem. Here is one of the most famous porcelain factories in Europe.
