Location: Ponte de Lima - Minho region, Northern Portugal.Sun, delicious food and an abundant supply of good local wine have long been high on the list of those aspiring to a second home abroad. At Quinta Boa you will find this and much more! Located in the unspoilt Minho region, this former farmhouse stands on a fascinating and beautiful estate with easy access to the pleasures of the beautiful Ponte de Lima centre.

Here you will find several high-quality restaurants, cafes, bars, open air esplanades around the Lima River waterfront, 18 hole golf course, horse riding, etc. Basic facilities such as a mini market can be found within walking distance. Earlier in 2007, the owners of this property themselves enjoyed a wonderful holiday in the Ponte de Lima region together with their extended family. At the end of the two weeks everyone agreed that they had never visited such a beautiful, peaceful and cozy place. They decided to move to this area again the following year, but then to find a house and live in it.

The result is this wonderful villa. When you walk around Quinta Boa we hope that you will be amazed by the craftsmanship of the builders. The restoration of the old stone walls is breathtaking and can only be achieved through ancient skills passed down through the old generations. It was great to see how older craftsmen showed the young students how to preserve the old style with new stones. We are happy to offer you this villa and we will do our best to make your stay in Portugal unforgettable are! The house is truly a distinctive product of the region.

Accommodation: 14 people, 6 rooms, 5 bathrooms

Lower floor: Master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. 3 bedrooms, each with its own shower room. Doors open onto a cobblestone terrace ideal for alfresco dining. Stairs to the top floor.

Top floor: Two double bedrooms share a bathroom which is suitable for disabled and wheelchair users. Fully equipped kitchen with doors that open onto a covered terrace, barbecue and swimming pool. Spacious dining room with table seating up to 14 people. Living room with comfortable seating, closed fireplace, satellite TV, music center and DVD player. Doors open onto a lovely balcony with beautiful views over a valley.

Outside:
Sun terrace and lawns with beautiful views. Barbecue terrace perfect for al fresco dining. The private pool is 15 x 7 meters. Badminton court. Parking spot. The large gardens together with the recently planted vineyard with many different nice places invite guests to simply relax in the shade or go for a lovely walk.
