Luxury, space and tranquility are some of the key words we can use to describe the atmosphere of this remarkable recently fully renovated 19th century farmhouse (original building dating from 1860), carefully designed and lovingly restored to provide a truly stylish and comfortable to create a Portuguese retreat. Attention has been paid to details and everything has been thought of to ensure that all guests enjoy a warm and remarkable stay. This beautiful renovation is an elegant fusion of the charm and tradition of the Minho region with modern furnishings and modern comforts. Some of the original features have been carefully preserved (and completely renovated), such as handmade plaster ceilings, wooden floors and stone terraces. Together with the terracotta floors and exceptional outdoor furnishings, the result can only be a distinctive building that we would like to include in our program.

The formal extensive gardens with many different scenic areas invite guests to relax in the shade or enjoy their meals al fresco. The large swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace with large comfortable sun loungers. At the end of the property is an admirable Noria, preserved in its original state. This is an old water-powered mill that was used to lift water into an aqueduct.

The ancient fishing village of Esposende is just 1.3 km away, which is great if you want to tantalize your taste buds with local delicacies or perhaps eat and drink for a special occasion. The sandy beaches are just 3.4 km away. Quinta da Barca Golf Course is a 5-minute drive away. The riding school is also a short drive away. Porto city center is a 30-minute drive away. The old city center is on the World Heritage List. This villa is fully air-conditioned.

Exterior: Well maintained, generous grounds with lawns, furnished gazebo and patio making it a pleasure to sit outside at any time of the day to enjoy the warm Minho sun. Private swimming pool (14 x 4.5 meters). The depth is from 1.20 to 1.40 meters - the first 2 meters are only 20 cm deep, ideal for lying down and cooling off. It is possible to heat the swimming pool for a surcharge. Portable barbecue. Car parking lot.
