Casa Vista Airosa has beautiful views over the landscape and the Lagoa of Obidos. The house is ideal for a family that wants to go on holiday with grandparents or for two families.
There is a bedroom and bathroom downstairs. On the first floor there are three more bedrooms and two bathrooms. A cot and high chair are available. The beds have good mattresses (pocket springs) and duvets (partly down).
The (closed) kitchen is fully equipped and equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and small electrical appliances.
The living room has a spacious dining table with 8 comfortable chairs, a sofa and two armchairs. Reading material, board games and TV are available. Free WIFI is available.
The vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron are in the basement and there is also a beach bucket with scoop, etc. and a beach parasol.
There are loungers ready for you by the pool. You can also enjoy a meal outside together at the large garden table with 8 chairs. There is a BBQ available.
The house is located on the edge of the village and is part of a condominium with 5 identical houses. Parking is available in front of the house and in the communal parking lot.
The waste water system in the house is vulnerable. Only toilet paper may be thrown into the toilets, no baby wipes or wet toilet paper, condoms, etc.
For the same reason, you are requested to wipe the greasy and dirty plates with paper towels. This is available free of charge.

From the house you can walk straight into the fields, where a lot of fruit is grown. For hiking enthusiasts, the municipality of Obidos has set out several short and longer routes, including in the village of Sobral da Lagoa. There is much to do in the area for active holidaymakers, young and old. There are several golf courses nearby. You can sail, SUP, surf and canoe on the lagoon. Lessons can be taken at Escola da Vela in Nadadouro, among others. There is also surfing on the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Popular surfing beaches can be found in Peniche, Baleal and Nazaré.
Foz do Arelho is a child-friendly seaside resort. The beach on the lagoon is safe and large, making it a nice place for those seeking peace and quiet. There are many eateries along the boulevard. For the older children: remains of dinosaurs have been found near Lourinha and a park has been created with life-size replicas. There are also two mountain areas in the area, the Serra d' Aire e Candeeiros, where caves can be visited, and the Serra de Montejunto. Walking routes have been set out in both areas.
Nice towns to visit are not far away: Obidos, Nazaré, Alcobaça and Caldas da Rainha are definitely worth a visit. Lisbon can be reached within an hour by car and can also be reached quickly by bus from Obidos. For culture lovers, a visit to the city is highly recommended. More than 10 years ago, my husband and I opted for a new adventure: the purchase of a house in Portugal for holidays. We first went on holiday to Portugal in the 1970s, just after the Carnation Revolution. The country is beautiful, the people are friendly and the climate on the Silver Coast is very pleasant.

Rental price
The rental price includes normal final cleaning, free WIFI, bed linen, towels and beach towels and kitchen textiles. The available herbs and the like can also be used.
If the final cleaning shows that the oven and/or BBQ are very dirty and greasy, €25 will be deducted per device. An amount of €10 will be deducted from the deposit if the household waste has not been taken to the containers available outside the entrance gate of the condominium.
There is a laundry surcharge of €50 per stay. This will be deducted from the deposit.
If it turns out that smoking has occurred in the house or on the balconies, a minimum of €200 will be withheld from the deposit due to the additional cleaning costs and possible loss of rent, for which you may be held liable.
The tourist tax will also be deducted from the deposit. This amounts to €1 per person for a maximum of 5 days and applies to persons aged 13 and older.

Cancellation policy
If, for whatever reason, the tenant cannot, does not want to or will not accept the rented property on the agreed date, he must immediately inform the landlord of this. A telephone notification of this must always be confirmed in writing or by email to the landlord.
If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period up to 6 weeks before the start date of the rental period, he will still owe 30% of the rental price; for cancellation up to 4 weeks 40% and from 2 weeks up to the start date of the rental period 50%. If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he or she will not use the rented property (anymore), he will be charged the full rental price. owed.
