Uniquely situated in the heart of Europe's last great wilderness, the Peneda-Geres National Park. This beautiful charming villa overlooks the Cávado River and the tranquil Caniçada dam. The Gerês has been designated by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve. The villa has a lovely atmosphere and has a pleasant range of carefully chosen furnishings to provide comfort for guests. It is set in a walled garden where a stylish swimming pool has recently been added. A comfortable living room opens onto a shaded terrace overlooking the pool, with table and chairs ideal for outdoor dining. This villa is situated on a private condominium of approximately 4 hectares of land, surrounded by protected areas due to its ecological importance from this location. In addition to the villa, guests have the right to use the communal facilities such as a tennis court, 2 swimming pools (one for children and one for adults) and the large lawns with panoramic views. Various activities can be enjoyed due to the natural environment with nature activities such as fishing, canoeing, water sports and hiking. The Cavado River, with its clear, clean water, is located approximately 7 minutes' walk from the villa. There is a restaurant in the nearby village center (about 1600 metres) which produces good local food. Other facilities at this location include a cafe/bar and a mini market. The larger and historic village of Vieira do Minho is located just 4 km from the villa.

Accommodation (a two-storey house): 6 people, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

Ground floor: Well-equipped kitchen overlooking a very spacious terrace with a barbecue with bread/pizza oven. Guest toilet, living room with a comfortable seating area and satellite TV, dining area with a table that seats 8 people and patio doors to a large terrace with beautiful unobstructed views of the Cávado River valley. Laundry room with washing machine.

First floor: Master double bedroom with en suite shower room and patio doors leading to a balcony with stunning views over the valley. Another bedroom with door to the same balcony. Third bedroom with a double bed. This shower is shared by bedrooms 2 and 3.

Outside: Private swimming pool (10 meters long and 5 meters wide). Outside shower. Large built-in barbecue and terrace with table and chairs for outdoor dining. The views from the terrace and the house are excellent.
