We have a cozy holiday home that is equipped with many conveniences in a beautiful quiet area. It is a good place to be among quiet residents. You can walk, cycle (mountenbike), tour by motorbike or of course by car. It is a bit up the mountain where we have our house, we have done a lot to make it 'our own' and hope that you will like it too.
There is plenty to find in the area, nice restaurants, there are many river beaches in the wide areas on hot days and within an hour's drive you are on the coast, shopping centers, supermarkets! Portugal has a rich history and you can see that in many places, but it is also good to notice that Portugal is progressing rapidly in developments.
However, there are also many small villages around the location of our house where you can go where you can also find a shop for the basic necessities of life. In addition, there are terraces and eateries in many places where you can relax from a walk or a brisk bike ride - the car is of course also an option :-)
The house itself was built in 1938 but recently completely renovated, only the outside walls are still original, so the house is equipped with many conveniences and even has an A+++ energy label!
Take a look at the photos... A wonderful view where you can almost hear the silence :-)) and it is wonderful to sit on the balcony in the evening with a glass of wine or another snack.
