Quinta do Outeiro is a small-scale charming B&B for up to 6 adults and also has a beautiful holiday home for up to 4 adults on the property. It is located in the Serra da Lousã.

You will stay in a beautiful part of central Portugal, surrounded by unspoilt nature and in the immediate vicinity of the river beaches. Serra da Lousã is known for its beautiful walks, old mountain villages (Xisto), swimming rivers (Praia fluvials) and MTB. All plans and contacts are available on site.

Kayaking, canyoning, jeep safaris are also possible. It is only a 20-minute drive to cultural Coimbra with the oldest university in Portugal. In Coimbra you can take the high-speed train to Porto and Lisbon.

Within an hour by car you can be on the Atlantic coast or on the 2000 m highest mountain in Portugal in Serra da Estrella. The 120m² holiday home is very tastefully decorated, has a well-equipped kitchen (including expresso machine) and a beautiful terrace with BBQ. In addition to bed and bath linen, we also provide towels at the pool

You can enjoy the sun in peace and quiet at the large saltwater swimming pool (12m x 6m) or retreat to the pool house. Pool house is also equipped with a bathroom and outdoor shower. To guarantee your peace and quiet, it is only rented from 16 years of age. The minimum length of stay is 3 nights.

Enough restaurants in the area to spoil you with culinary delights. Combine adventure, culture, relaxation, tasty and cheap food in the real Portugal!

Hi, we are Martine and Dirk, from Belgium.

We have lived in beautiful Portugal for about 10 years, where we run a small-scale B&B and rent out a super nice holiday home. When we bought the Quinta it had been empty for about 20 years, it was quite a project to bring it back into beautiful condition. But the result is impressive, we are proud of it! We also live on the property with our 3 dogs, 2 of which come from the local shelter and one of which has arrived.

Explanation of prices

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he or she will no longer use the rented property, he will still owe the full rental price.
