🏡 The villa
The heart of Casa Sofala is the cozy living room. Thanks to the large windows, the inside flows effortlessly into the outside and the view forms the backdrop of every day. The stylish décor, comfortable seating area, and fireplace make it a wonderful place to gather , read a book, or relax after a day at the beach.
The spacious kitchen is modern and fully equipped. With a wide induction hob, high-quality appliances and plenty of workspace, cooking here is a pleasure.
While one prepares dinner, the other enjoys a glass of wine on the adjacent terrace.
Through the patio doors you step directly onto the spacious, covered terrace. This is where the great outdoors for which the Algarve is so popular begins. Casa Sofala is located in the green hilly landscape northwest of Silves, between Silves, São Bartolomeu de Messines and Algoz. This is one of the most authentic parts of the Algarve, where orange groves, cork oaks and white Portuguese manor houses define the landscape.
Although you can enjoy complete peace and privacy here, all amenities are close by. Historic Silves is only a 10-minute drive away and offers atmospheric restaurants, cozy terraces, local markets and the impressive Moorish castle that towers high above the city .
Within about half an hour you can reach some of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal, including Carvoeiro, Benagil, Ferragudo and the world-famous Praia da Marinha.
In addition, the area is ideal for walks, bike rides and a relaxing round of golf on one of the nearby golf courses.
