In a quiet street in the center of Silves, behind a striking azure blue door, you will find Casa Mourisca: a mansion where you will experience that luxury can also be authentic . Silves has a non-rushed charm with picturesque cobbled streets and squares, a castle, market hall and nice restaurants.

A 20-minute drive away are the sun-drenched beaches and green hills of the Algarve. Casa Mourisca was renovated by passionate owners Miquel and Sara, with the help of Studio Arte architects. This townhouse owes its riad style to the Moorish history of Portugal. Much care has been taken in the details ; we love the handcrafted Portuguese and Arabic tiles & vintage furniture. The interior is a visual feast and there is also plenty of modern comfort . Comfortable hotel style beds, beautifully finished bathrooms, Marshall sound system, luxury kitchen with wine fridge, gas BBQ etc.

The heart of Casa Mourisca is the beautiful courtyard with four different patios , with tropical greenery and romantically lit in the evening. The seductive cobalt green swimming pool offers a welcome cooling off to finally read that book on your lounger afterwards. You eat together at the long wooden table for up to 10 people, with a pergola and outdoor kitchen . Thanks to the air conditioning and underfloor heating, you can stay here comfortably all year round.
