In the spring of 2017, Villa Branca has been completed, and fully equipped! From the villa you have 180 degree views over an authentic small village and the surrounding hills. At the front of the house is a beautiful nature area with olives, pine trees, cork oaks and eucalyptus. The villa is actually a two-under-one-roof villa and therefore also split into 2 identical houses for each 6 people (via a sofa bed per living room to extend to 7 per house).

Villa Branca therefore accommodates up to 14 people. The 2 living rooms are spacious and have an open kitchen. In one of the living rooms a table can be placed for 14 people. At the pool terrace there are 2 wooden tables where everyone can eat. The living rooms have doors to the south terrace with panoramic views over the lower pool, the hills and the village. There are 6 bedrooms; 4 have a double bed and 2 have 2 single beds. Villa Branca has 3 luxuriously finished bathrooms. The living room and bedrooms have air conditioning with cooling and heating. The terrace for the living rooms is 2 x 45 m2 and is separated by a wall and a door in the middle of the villa. Each part has a barbecue. Each house has patio furniture for 8 people.

The pool is 10 x 5 x 2m in ascending and has a very spacious terrace that is partly covered by a pergola, for the necessary shade. There are 14 sunbeds in total.

Surroundings Villa Branca

This luxury holiday home is situated above an Algarvian village with a church, a sheep herd and 2 cafe's. Directly in front of the house begins a vast nature reserve with a river where you can walk, mountain bike or horseback. Mountain bikes can be rented and delivered to the house. There is a riding school in the village and nearby is a park with picnic spots that is popular with Portuguese families in the summer.

Although the house seems to lie in the middle of nature, it is central and is easily accessible from the road. From the airport of Faro it is only 20 minutes drive and several beaches can be reached within half an hour. At 5 minutes drive São Bras de Alportel has 4 large supermarkets and a covered food market on Saturday. There is a wide choice of restaurants in the area. Loulé is a fifteen minute drive and is popular with its monumental market and cozy streets. The beaches of the beautiful Ria Formosa and the famous coastal towns of Tavira, Olhão and Faro are within a half hour drive. From here you can take the boat to one of the islands off the coast. Because of its central location you are only half an hour away from the chic Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. North you drive through a beautiful hilly landscape within an hour to the famous wineries of the Alentejo.

Of the many tourists who visit the Algarve in high season, you will not notice much in Villa Branca, but if you want you are within half an hour in the bustle.

Layout

Classification per property:

Entrance through hall: access to all three bedrooms with air conditioning. 1 bedroom is north facing with two single beds and 2 south facing with 2 single beds and sliding doors to the balcony. The north and south bedrooms share a bathroom with toilet, or use can be made of the third bathroom downstairs. One bedroom has bathroom en-suite with toilet. Through the entrance hall you can go down the stairs. Here you enter another hall in the spacious living room with air conditioning, dining area and open kitchen. Here is access to the large south terrace. On this floor there is also a third bathroom with toilet and the laundry room.

NB the houses are not connected internally but can be easily interconnected via the adjoining front doors or via the large contiguous terraces of the living rooms.
