On the Atlantic Ocean, in the Algarve, in the south of Portugal, lies the traditional fishing village of Olhão. The authentic old town consists of narrow alleys and winding streets with white and pastel colored cubist houses with Moorish influences. Here is Casa Opala townhous this is equipped with all comforts and an attractive interior.
Tough materials such as concrete and wood and clean lines are combined with soft pastels. The high ceilings with the white bars create a spacious effect. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the apartment is ideal for two couples or a family.
Open living, light & spacious kitchen and the adjacent terrace where you can eat outside. A nice extra is the roof terrace with swimming pool, outdoor shower and lounge area, with beautiful views over the historic heart of Olhão.
The fishing village and the surrounding area offer an authentic experience of the Algarve. Walk in the morning to the baker for fresh bread or take a delicious cup of coffee with a pastel de nata at one of the many Pastelerias. Dine in the evening on the boulevard, with plenty of choice of traditional restaurants.
Along the waterfront you will also find the market halls; these are a must because of the wide variety of fresh fish and seafood and an extensive range of locally grown fruit and vegetables. The market halls are surrounded by terraces, where you can enjoy the view of the boats, with jazz music playing in the background from one of the local cafés.

On the roof we have a private swimming pool (8 x 1.5 m 2 meters), outdoor shower, covered sundeck and a comfortable seating area for a relaxed sundowner.
