The roof terrace was great with the lovely corner sofa. Even though it was the first week of January, the weather was fantastic. Sat in the sun with a book and a glass of wine. Enjoy!

Let me get straight to the point: what a nice place! In a quiet street in the center of Olhão you will find this beautiful house, three floors and each one a picture. On the ground floor you will find two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a living room. All clean and fresh, and beautiful materials have been used. Up a flight of stairs and you are in the middle of the delicious kitchen. A very nice place to cook together (if you feel like it); All the kitchen utensils you need for a fresh fish meal, simple salad or delicious savory pie are provided. On Saturdays, go to the organic market near the port. And during the week? Then you can visit the great indoor food markets – they are not to be missed. Even if you're not going to cook, it's nice to walk through it once. The owners of this house recommend the best stall for vegetables, fish, cheese and more; We got something from every friendly seller, and they didn't say too much: everything was equally fresh and delicious. If you don't feel like cooking, sit down in one of the nice restaurants. There are plenty of them. Our favourite? Cha Cha Cha. Back to the house: near the kitchen you will find a large dining table both inside and outside to eat, read or play a game, for example. If you go one floor higher, you look out over the 'town' on the roof terrace, where you can also take a dip in the nice swimming pool. Also great: there is a nice lounge sofa where you can sit in the evening with sunset. We would go back in a heartbeat!

It was exactly like in the pictures, actually even better. Nice and cool downstairs, everything smelled wonderfully fresh, nice beds. All in all, it gave us a real luxurious feeling and that's nice on your holiday!

The highlight is the roof terrace, where you can relax and cool off in the swimming pool.
Very nice and we definitely recommend this house. From the house, all the fun and goodies in the town are within walking distance. Super. The beaches you can go to are also lovely.

We had two wonderful weeks at Casa Opala - the house is great and very comfortable, Olhao is a town one must love! So much to enjoy, the sea, the beaches, the market...and above all - Richard is a very friendly host, who cares...
