Large ground floor, south facing, 2 bedroom apartment in a small complex of private apartments, with large 15 x 8 meter swimming pool, (including children's pool) with outdoor shower. Set in 650sq mts of mature landscaped gardens. The ground floor apartment benefits from a large lawn to the front of the apartment. The complex is a few minutes from the center of Lagos, the new modern marina and the large safe Meia Praia beach (for those who like an all over tan, the eastern end of the beach is Meia Praia, Praia dos Pinheiros is a naturist haven). There are a variety of beaches in the town with many others a short drive from Lagos to suit all tastes. With a range of other leisure facilities nearby, the apartment comes with 1 GB internal connection along with Vodafone TV channels

Sailing: The apartment is approximately 1 hours drive from Faro International Airport where many of the low cost airlines fly from many regional UK and European airports. Near the apartments there are many leisure activities, near the marina there are many boat trips including renting a private yacht for the day or just a few hours to visit the caves of Ponte da Piedade or have a BBQ cruise in the bay of Lagos and along the most impressive cave and rock formations. Golf: The apartment is ideally located for golfing holidays 15 minutes from 5 great golf courses of Onyria Palmares Beach &Golf Resort where the natural amphitheater of the Bay of Lagos Robert Trent Jones has formed 2nd Europe's next great 27 hole golf course, the result is a breathtaking natural beauty that is a joy to play Boavista, Parque de Floresta, Alto Club and the world famous Sir Henry Cotton's Penina Golf Complex are a short drive away. The Palmares Course at Meia Praia, has been extensively redesigned by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The first 18 holes reopened in October 2010, and a further 9 holes will open in 2011, combining contemporary design, a links course and stunning ocean views. Many other courses are within 1 hour drive of the apartment. The apartment is also a 20 minute drive from the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Mexelhoeira Grande (FIA and FIM approved for Formula 1 and Motorcycle Grand Prix. Spectator events take place all year round, but it is also possible for adults and children to explore the track for adults there are defensive riding courses, motorcycle courses and taxi experiences Other Activities: There are several excellent riding clubs along the coast and near Lagos, a zoo just outside Lagos in the village of Barao de S. Joao. a slide and splash park in Lagoa There are many walks that will take you into the beautiful countryside, or along spectacular parts of the coastline that you are unlikely to see except on foot (there is a guide of these walks in the apartment for guests to use during their stay).
