This charming, stone farmhouse is set among orange groves, almond, fig, and olive trees, with lovely views to the sea. The one-level house has everything you'll need to enjoy your holiday.
4 beautiful bedrooms & 4 modern bathrooms & 2 living areas. 2 of the bedrooms have their own, large en-suite bathrooms. 2 other bathrooms are adjacent to the other bedrooms. There is a main living room and a small den with TV. There is an additional second upper living room with comfy furnishings, a woodstove and a flat screen TV. The kitchen has been recently renovated and is fully equipped if you choose to cook in with an American sized fridge and Falcon gas stove/oven. There is an inside dining room that comfortably seats 8. There is also an al fresco dining area that seats 10 - 12. We have a BBQ as well, which is great for grilling fresh fish, meats & veggies that you can find at Tavira's nearby Municipal Market.
The Quinta is beautiful and very private. There is a lovely, large pool with trickling fountain. A Sauna in the top of the mill building and Jacuzzi hot tub south of the pool complete the experience of utter relaxation.
This property is exactly what you would dream of when thinking of that quitessential place in southern Portugal. It's a fantastic house & location full of privacy, but very close to Tavira, wonderful beaches, the Ria Formosa national park, golf, as well as shopping and terrific restaurants.
Please note: In full disclosure, some of the outside landscaping is incomplete. Some pathways, the area around the pool, and the old threshing floor are currently hardpacked dirt. We are restricted as to what we can do, and are awaiting approval of the local RAN which oversees agricultural specifications.
