Escape to nature and unwind in this newly renovated holiday home located on a mountain in a valley just outside of Aljezur. Perfectly perched above the charming town of Aljezur, with panoramic views of the valley and unforgettable sunsets.
Aljezur is a small, charming village built on a hill, with great famous surf beaches, beautiful hiking trails along the coast and plenty of restaurants.
The property has a large garden/land with native plants, trees, and space.
The big swimming pool terrace has stunning views over the valley and sunbeds to relax.
Our house plus two other smaller guesthouses are also located on the property so the outside areas and swimming pool are shared with us and other guests. We have dogs, a cat, bunnies and chickens - for the animal lovers and fresh eggs!
The Guesthouse has been fully renovated this year and sleeps up to 6 guests. It consist of a ground floor and the first floor. On the ground floor there is an open kitchen, lounge, dining area and one bathroom. And on the first floor there are 3 bedrooms and a second bathroom. Two bedrooms have their own entrance and the bedroom with the bunk bed is accessible via another bedroom (with a sliding door so can be seperated).

- 3 bedrooms: 2 with double beds (160x200 / 140x200) + 1 with a bunk bed (2x 90x200)
- All beds have good mattresses with comfy toppers
- A travel cot for little ones up on request
- 2 modern bathrooms with toilet and rainshower (on each floor is one bathroom)
- Spacious, stylish interiors
- Underfloor heating for the cold days on the ground floor
- Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, coffee machine, nutribullet etc.
- A terrace at the front with a large dining table and chairs
- The stairs to the 1st floor inside is a bit steep but there is second comfortable stairs outside that can be used too
- All bedlinen is included
- Bath towels are included
- Parking space on the property itself
Nature, Surf & Adventure on Your Doorstep!
It is just a 2-minute drive to the town of Aljezur – enjoy local bakeries, restaurants, and cafés. We have lots of recommendations for you in the area depending on what you are looking for.
Famous surf beaches are a 12 minutes drive (Arrifana, Monte Clerigo and Amoreira). The beautiful fisherman's village Lagos is 25 minute drive, and Faro Airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes drive. Also great golf courses in the South of the Algarve are within an hour drive.
It is an ideal base for road cycling/mountain biking, running and hiking. The scenic Costa Vicentina trails cross Aljezur so beautiful hikes can be made in the area. Gary is a road cyclist and runner so he can recommend the beautiful routes in the area for running and cycling.
The weather in West Algarve is great because it does not get warmer then 30 degrees in summer and in winter it is mild. On most days there is a nice sea breeze.
We'd love to welcome families with kids or adults that don't mind having kids around the shared areas (they are respectful and fun!). We love our place, and we are very excited to share it with others, however it is not the right place for big parties/events.
