Ocean View Beach Home is located directly on the beach of Monte Clérigo, on the west coast of the Atlantic Ocean. This house is booked for its unique location and breathtaking views.
It's all possible here: yoga, surfing, horseback riding, walking along the coastline or simply reading a book with a spectacular view. With the beach and hiking trails of the Rota Vicentina in the backyard, this location offers something for everyone.
This 2-storey house is a real eye-catcher in Monte Clérigo. The lower part, with a large private terrace, is completely for you. The upper apartment is occasionally used by ourselves.
The house has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with breakfast bar, bathroom (with washing machine), living room, large garden and a terrace with sun loungers. There is also a parking space next door, which is very pleasant, especially in high season. Where others are looking for a place and have to walk far with their belongings, you are on the beach within 3 minutes.
Through the kitchen, you have direct access to the terrace and garden — the place where you will probably spend most of your time.
Its location on a hill makes this place feel almost majestic: special, quiet and full of charm. With only a 3-minute walk you can reach the beach, where there are two cozy restaurants. Aljezur is a 10-minute drive away and offers all amenities such as a supermarket, ATMs, gas station and a local market.
For surfing enthusiasts, there is plenty of choice with beaches such as Amoreira, Arrifana, Amado and Odeceixe in the immediate vicinity. We are happy to help you with tips or booking surf lessons.
Right behind the house is the famous Rota Vicentina Trail, the old Fishermen's Route that starts in Sagres and runs along the rugged coast towards Lisbon. An absolute must: at the end of the day, walk through the garden to the cliffs with a glass of wine and enjoy a spectacular sunset. With a bit of luck, you may even spot dolphins.
The west coast of the Algarve is still relatively undiscovered and free of mass tourism, which makes this region so special. Thanks to the Atlantic Ocean, the climate remains pleasant even in summer.

Good to know:
Due to its unique location right by the sea, the house can sometimes have to deal with higher humidity. This is particularly noticeable in the bathroom, as it is naturally the most humid room. There is one area above the shower that remains sensitive due to these conditions and is difficult to fully treat. This does not affect the stay, but we think it is important to be transparent about this.
Ps: The house has no wifi. Sometimes you can use the network of the restaurant downstairs — or even better: this is the perfect place for a digital detox 😉
