This special off grid tiny house has 8 walls and is therefore a wooden yurt. But also has a handy extension with a double bed as a bedroom. The cottage is stylishly & colorfully decorated, has a desk and is located on a beautiful piece of land of over 3000m2 between olive trees and cork trees where you can completely relax.
Nearby is a caravan with a queen size bed, kitchenette and private living room. You can also rent these as well. In the garden there is a dining table, lounge bed, hammock and 2 sofas to relax.
You can dine romantically under the large olive tree, pick vegetables from the organic vegetable garden and go on an adventure in the neighborhood.
Good to know: the electricity is entirely solar powered (you can't use hairdryers or kettle), the water is brought (that's why we are economical with water), there is a real ecological compost toilet and perfect 5G coverage. The tap in the cottage has only cold water.
It is a characteristic forest house, so you can sometimes suddenly find some dust (which blows in every day) or see an insect walking.
And in terms of environment? Jardim do Jambu is a piece of forest in a quiet area that is right between the farms and at the foot of a hilly area, but only 10 minutes from the sea. You can take beautiful walks from the land (there is a hiking route along the land!) or walk the famous Fisherman Trail along the coast.
Within a 5-minute drive you are at one of the supermarkets or restaurants in the famous village of Aljezur. 12 minutes to Odeceixe. Prefer to go to the beach? You can choose from one of the dozens of well-known (surf) beaches in the area.
On land we live with nature and are therefore aware of water and electricity use (but there is just a fridge, kettle, kitchen and everything you need!). And the bathroom? The shower is a separate shower house a few meters next to the cottage, completely surrounded by greenery and surrounded by plants. How romantic can it be?
In other words: it is an ideal nature retreat for anyone who wants to get away from it all, but don't want to be too remote.
